Just remember reading it a few pages back. But I guess we can't take that at face value.
The thing is, for the last couple years they were at least consistently putting the updates out on a 3 (one time was 4) month schedule, but then the last two updates took an additional month and now we're at 5+ months since the February update. Today was the hopium deadline because it was 3 months after the poll ended (which is already being incredibly generous, we were at the 3 month mark since update 19 back in May). At this point I wouldn't assume anything other than "it'll be out when it's out".

Do you think Ginyu ever body swapped with female characters and just put them into weird hentai scenarios? What if Frieza even requested to watch?

i really like this game but the lack of updates and news from the dev means that i can't help but think this has devolved into nothing but a scam at this point. waiting upwards of 4 months of giving the dev money just for a handful of new animations and hardly any delvopment.... if the work is so stressful, can't the dev get a hand with the coding or something?

I probably will stop following the game after this update, if i see an update i would check it, but i feel this game is going to be update slower every time, i mean even in ther discord they were many updates last year, i think i patreons need to demand more content or more frecuent content

Guys, I think you're going a little overboard. The development dates were not specified and relying on "Well, it was every 3 months, so it should be the same now" is a bit stupid. Doggy Bones is not an expert in games (This is the second game, if my memory does not fail me) and naturally it takes a lot of time to draw, encode, bug test, possible introduction of new mechanics and other things. You can ask for "pumping out money" or deliberately delaying the process only after the update, because there will be clearly justified this expectation with the money spent on the patreon or not. Be patient

well the last build was five months ago, and yes while the dev hasn't set a date for herself to release content... judging from example about previous updates. which had very minimum content just being a few bug fixes and four scenes after four months of waiting, etc. unless this is some huge update that'll blow everyone's socks off.... then i don't see why the dev needs to take five months for a handful of animations and a bit of an area size increase, espically because their being paid 4,480 a month on patreon.

I'll surprise you. This is the fourth game and the fifth ABDL game in development.

My dude, this is such a tired argument. If you go back in the thread, you'll see two key things: first, most people are pissed about the complete radio silence, not just the wait time. If Doggie actually bothered to give even the slightest expectations, people wouldn't be as bothered; for the first year or two, they gave monthly and sometimes even weekly status updates to keep people informed. How is developing the game even remotely related to that unless (shocker) they just have nothing to say because they're not even working on it?

Second, people have outright made shit up to defend Doggie, which isn't a good look for them or their fans: there were several pages where people claimed Doggie was "coding from scratch" despite it being in the FAQ of their Discord for YEARS that they use free software for the engine. You can say "game dev is so much harder than you think UwU" but it's hardly convincing when they've mysteriously gotten an entire stage and 3 enemies done in a 2 month span as they were early on, only to now take twice the time for the same content while making multiple times the money.

I just wish Doggie had enough respect for their patrons to bother giving them a timeline. It's astounding that people are so eager to defend a dev who has consistently shown they don't care about their customers in the slightest beyond a poll that was just a cleverly disguised excuse to say "hey look, I came out of my cave, no complaints allowed!" Yall deserve better than to simp for a dude who has consistently put in less effort the more money they make.

Also, if any of you think the complaining here is bad, just look at Cloud Meadows or Eromancer's games: literally 100+ pages and years of calling out those scams, they're pretty much the only places where people are honest and critical about those games. I imagine that most people defending them are newer buyers (one of the ways these projects always work is that the later people discover the game, the more bang they get for thrir buck AND they don't have to endure the years of waiting), thus they always have someone who just got a good deal come in to white knight against the foul patrons who have been supporting since the beginning. Truly some (cough) dog eat dog stuff.

for all (and i do mean all) of this games faults, it really does provide a few things most other games seemingly lack (at least from my experience). yea, going month after month with no update announcement or any progress report whatsoever is incredibly disheartening, there are plenty of things this game does well, the art style being one of them. visually this game is a massive step up from previous entries, namely HHH (one thing i will say is i sort of miss that games Trinity Design. the new one just feels off and wrong), but all the other enemies, with admittedly pretty high consistency, are usually pretty nice to look at.

another thing this game has going for it is the inclusion of unique game overs for every enemy, not just a single lose screen like some games have (with some lacking a lose screen at all and simply either being a loop of the same animation, or just a black screen). while i feel that this factor could be eating up at a significant portion of the work that needs to be done, along side level design and such, they've put decent quality updates in a shorter time frame before, i guess it all comes down to us being patient.

lets be honest, nobody likes waiting multiple months on end for a single update that adds one half baked feature while multiple other things are still incomplete. if memory serves and I'm not misinterpreting, the daycare still isn't fully fleshed out, the gallery has been teased at for the last few updates, Jessies Playhouse still isn't done [yes i know its going to be the focus of this update], and not to mention daisy's rodeo, which has proven to be extremely lackluster so far. but hopefully this update is more than just adding onto the zone and adding 2 enemies. this zone has promise to be the first true "Mission" of HHP since the daycare crawl section (a section im sure most of you despise. its ok, not everyone is into diapers), with the promise of being more of an escort type mission. i genuinely am looking forward to this update, as the concepts and designs of these characters give me high hopes that they wont be some average "turn whispy into a girl and have him get pregnant lel" thing. given the options of the character that we had for the poll, id say the only one we're really missing out on is the raptor. Leandre had a goofy ass design, and the doll... lets be honest, if a lot of you arent into diapers, then even more of you arent gonna be into dollification. things are probably better this way.

all that said this game is NOT without its flaws. in addition to updates coming once in a blue moon. some of the more recent fetishes included have been... odd, to say the least. I'm not gonna stand here and say everyone needs to be into ABDL stuff, but lets be real here, I don't think anyone liked the one enemy daisy's rodeo gave us. his design is cute, but like... wtf are those game overs. another one I feel is the mini-daisy, if only for the incredible focus on the messing element. the other ADBL enemies don't focus on that element NEARLY as much, and if they do its padded by enjoyable dialogue.

all this to say I really hope this game doesn't go the path of something like Bare Back Streets. I genuinely like this game and its concept, and I hope Doggie gets over whatever milking craze they're in and fleshes this game out proper.

The fact that build notifications have been ALSO moved to be patreon exclusive, meaning we don't know what the fuck will be added in build 19, is ALSO reason for heightened concern. .
Hilariously, even the Discord doesn't really have updates. There were some WIP animations posted a few weeks ago, but mind you that was after almost three months of waiting since February already just for the VIP Discord members to get a preview, not even an indication of when it would be done. Even the people who are supporting monthly are nearly as in the dark as us. It especially doesn't help that, as others have mentioned, it's a massive hugbox circlejerk zone for Doggie: I've seen people asking as little as "any news on the next update?" in the Discord back in early June, and they got the cold shoulder along with a snide "have some patience".

And yet again you go ballistic with insults when the criticism was directed at Doggie, not you. Thanks for quoting a post from them two weeks ago, that's what everyone has been asking for (vague as it is), but it's not like I would have known since it's in the VIP section. The one you have to pay for ("fair" price or not) just to know why you're paying them.

Edit:
people fighting over silly furry game
You should have seen some of Shush's comments in the 30+ posts that got deleted due to everyone bickering. Shit was pure comedy gold (in a positive way), I even managed to save one before the purge.

At the rate we receive updates, it gives us enough time to learn programming, game development to create our own game.
The worst thing is that he refuses to receive help, I am sure that many people would offer to help in some way, and that is a problem with many indie devs.
If you want to play a similar game that comes out on time, you have the Kabopuri games, which will have its fourth installment this year

Really hadn't even bothered to make that comparison but it is pretty sad. Kabopuri does the same two character style as this and puts out as many animations in 1 year or less than this has received in 3 years.
