I personaly like the game.
After the 15th update I donated 1$.
Because I played it, liked it and thought the developer is worth it.


Overall the game is great and I am sure a lot of people think the same.

Everyone, including me, are just mad because of the recent development progress:
-Slow updates
-Small updates
-A lot of niche/unpleasant content (ABDL)
-Lack of "free" information (A lot of information is from VIP channels from users who donated)
(Maybe some don't see it like that, maybe they do)

It is just a human character:
When you get a lot at the start you begin to expect to get the same ammount or more later.
It's enevidable that people get angry.

Not really, people are still buying to support, its a huge fundraiser. The irl version of Patreon. The cookies are just an incentive, for those who don't care for the cause, they are given another reason to give money. You know the sad part about us, the ones who are passionate to be this critical?

We want DoggieBones to prove us wrong.

We want him to actually exceed our expectation and beyond.

We want him to show he actually gives a single damn about how many people are annoyed at the minimum of the state of the update.

People who hate for the sake of hate would just come and go, but for the one who care about the game's development do stick around. And it honestly get tiring at times, but we don't complain for da lolz. We do it because we care about the game. We care about the promises broken, because we pay attention to, so closely. We care about the shitty 'fans', that includes kittymaid, because if we don't, those people would be the ones to dictate where the development goes. That is why we're here. Not for machoism or the porn itself, but for the game to be good.

And that's why... we're disappointed. Disappointed that this game, on this very update, is on the verge of a decline.

The arguing happens because of the points you stated: there's nothing to discuss because Doggie doesn't even bother to provide much info beyond teaser gifs and this "test build" to their VIPs, and even when the update finally comes out there will be maybe a single day's worth of discussion to be had. I have nothing against anyone here, the banter is HILARIOUS and that's why I honestly prefer it to the blatant ass-kissing and walking on eggshells that Doggie's Discord is defined by. It's downright creepy how apolagetic some of their patrons are for asking such simple questions as "ETA on the update?" after half a year of being ghosted.

Ironically, the people (person) who starts the most shit and arguing is also the one constantly claiming piety and talking down to everyone, literally just tongue-in-cheek insulting people while saying "im right ur rong :3 uWu". Basically we should all just stop commenting and quietly twiddle our thumbs, praise Doggie for making anything at all (because somehow we're now at the point of arguing the semantics of donating vs. Paying for a product), and shut the fuck up if we dare to have any opinion other than "please let me suck your farts lord Doggie UwU".

Again, the banter is funny to me, but certain elements seem to be incapable of resisting the urge to go straight to nutpunches (though that is technically a kink, hmm...) while rabidly going after anyone that has even a slight criticism about the game (oh the days of arguing semantics over the word "criticism"). To be fair it's not the most complex thing to figure out that a creator has no obligation to deliver on their patreon even if it's a scummy move if they don't. I'm sure it takes zero effort to unsubscribe if you aren't satisfied with it. It seems pretty easy for me to not subscribe to the patreon and just come back every now and then and see if there's a new update here I can play and then move on to other stuff until the next update. I suppose I just enjoy the fact that it exists at all and it's pretty good. Is it really so shocking to people that one person making a game would put stuff they like in it even if it's not for everyone?

To be fair it's not the most complex thing to figure out that a creator has no obligation to deliver on their patreon even if it's a scummy move if they don't. I'm sure it takes zero effort to unsubscribe if you aren't satisfied with it. See, I agree with your comment. The problem is that some people in this thread both support this game's developer and consistently bash other people for daring to criticize this game, most of the time saying that "they don't understand the game's development and are too entitled to understand the poor developer", even when the critique comes from people that actually supported the game before.

All of this I can agree with. Where I was seeing you as coming in with bad assumptions is that Kitty is entitled to their opinion about the game and its production as much as any of us, but you should take any of our opinions with a grain of salt: the current "test build" is posted a couple pages back (feel free to check it out yourself), and when it originally released Kitty's posts gave a pretty clear impression of "omg yall are missing out", yet we come to find that after 6 months of waiting, this test build only includes one character with two animations. That's it. It is a test build, yes, but if Mordicai and the Rat are so unpolished/far from finished Doggie didn't feel safe showing them in the test (or is outright withholding them out of fear of us 'dastardly pirates" yoinking it), what the hell have they been doing for half a year?

To summarize why you may have really stepped in a deep pile of shit the rest of us are mired in: people originally started showing dissatisfaction over what had up till recently been 5 months of radio silence (even for VIPs who had to pay and verify their damn phone just to get into a Discord channel), Kitty and a few others went absolutely ballistic in response to that dissatisfaction (which has at multiple points became a topic of contention itself over whether we're even ALLOWED to be dissatisfied since we donated) and we have since been slowly walking through unrelated, completely silly semantic arguments over "what counts as donating vs. paying?", "Doggie never made any promises, thus owes us nothing", "They gave a 'potential' date, not an actual one, so they're not beholden to a deadline", so on and so forth.

So they're going the Project X: Love Potion Disaster route: putting a fresh coat of paint on something old instead of focusing and putting all resources on making new stuff. I remember they replaced Sam and Whispy's voices/moans again in the previous update (they've done this like, three times now, they even used to speak during rape animations at one point)
