I had been trying to do this for freaking ages and only just recently figured it out! What the guide so importantly missed out is, you must first 'toss her salad' in her maid outfit.

just place it into the haramase simulator folder (where the game exe is), extract it and you're done (as it'll sort itself out)

The game has normally an update cyclus of one every four years. As the last one whas two years ago the next one will come in two years aka 2025.
