The last big virus confirmed for me that a zombie virus would spread as fast, or faster, than we see in those movies.
assuming the zombie virus are air borne rather than through bite otherwise ppl will wear armor faster than the zombie virus can spread, even thicker clothes can do fine against human bite, cant say the same if it mutate to infect other animals, now thats the nightmare, try protect yourself against bunch of rat zombie or ant zombie or dog and cat zombie.

It's just F95 rule book that a game without an Update for an entire year goes "abondened"... now how realistic another release to the game is, is an entire different story... but there is still work done here

We haven't had an update since 2021, in practical terms it appears abandoned. Have the devs even said anything since 2021? How do you know it isn't? discord or something?

No, it just so happens that every update of this game occurs every 3-4 years or so. I am one who does not consider the game abandoned (yet) but I understand why it has the tag. It could even be really abandoned but I don't lose hope yet.

How much faith you can put into the words of the Devs is for you to decide.
For me? I have enough other games to play so I can wait for a final declaration wether it's "completed" or "abondened" in the end

no mention about the game getting worked onIs there any possibility that the update 5.0.0 could come out in 2025? Considering the time from 2017 to 2021 was how long the last update took according to some people on the thread...

But the server is still pretty much active. So there's still hope (I'm coping hard rn).
Look in all honesty the game is not even that complex.
IT's made with assets taken from other games. A good chunk of which don't even really match the context they're used in.
Litterally anyone could just add to this game and label it a fan made expansion.
So if anyone wants to expand this thing they can just do it. The origional guys are obviously not going to anymore.
