Awesome work so far, especially for an initial release. Looking forward to future patches and an eventual Steam release (it certainly has the potential for it, at least).

A bit of general gameplay feedback:

1. I really like the true roguelike structure you have going and the wild swings in RNG that it can produce. The game will sometimes be unfair, and that's okay. The randomness is part of the enjoyment the same way gambling can be. But that might not be a common sentiment and you may want to add difficulty settings or individual gameplay sliders. I totally respect if someone wants an easier experience (especially in an erotic game).

2. Clothing should probably be more fragile if it's supposed to have multiple levels of destruction. I just completed two full runs and never saw more than a single break. This might be a good option for a gameplay slider, so players who want a "nude mode" can have clothing that breaks almost instantly if they so choose.

3. Some sort of option to inspect your character and see a description of buffs and debuffs would be nice. Some of them like "Wet" and "Shocked" are not obvious. It would also give a good excuse to zoom in on the lovely MC and admire her curves.

4. It'd be great if we had an option to manually advance sex scenes with a keypress. Some of the sex scenes jump to climax a bit too quickly at times. The Tentacular Realm especially seems like the MC might be spending some quality time there, especially if it's permanently affecting her constitution.

My personal erotic preferences wishlist:

1. The addition of "brute" style enemies with big muscles and big packages. Orcs, barbarians, werewolves, minotaurs and the like. The enemies included so far are great and make sense for a beginner adventurer, but descending into the deeper levels should include bigger dangers. Both bigger and "bigger".

2. Situations where you can pay with your body. I like that there isn't any violent rape in the game, and the MC is choosing to use sex to succeed in the dungeon. That could logically extend to the occasional shop or NPC who's willing to barter some bedroom time in exchange for that fancy shield. You could hook it into the roguelike randomness too, where you don't know just how randy the NPC is before agreeing to sex. Maybe they'll fuck once, or twice, or thrice, or maybe it'll be an "all-nighter" and the MC is guaranteed to wake up with a 99% full Cum bar.

3. Similar to 2, but performing actions that you know will inevitably result in sex at an unknown later time. Things like wearing equipment that randomly causes the Aphrodesiac effect, or a literal "deal with a devil" who will collect on the bargain whenever he so chooses. Ties into the whole random risk/reward structure of roguelikes.

4. Some risk of impregnation. Maybe I'm weird in that I don't really have a thing for pregnant bellies, but I love the idea of a risk of getting knocked up. Especially when the lady chooses to use sex as a tool despite being concerned about the risk. The random nature of roguelikes seems like a great opportunity to include this.

If ever there was a place to use a gameplay slider, this would be it. Some people want a 0% chance, some people want 100%, and personally I like it when the chance is very low, around 2-3%. It's not enough to really dissuade using sex, but high enough that you'll probably see it eventually in games where sex is common. Personally I'd be fine if the only real effect was a brief "epilogue" or splash image on the Game Over screen.

Anyway, best of luck with the game! Doing great so far and looking forward to more in the future.

Actually, rather than difficulty sliders, a more roguelike method of modulating difficulty would probably be to have upgrades that you can unlock in-game that persist across... Whatever's going on with the protagonist. Loops?

Basically, do better, get some kind of out-of-game currency, and use that currency to buy more HP or better starting armor for next time, etc.

What you're describing is metaprogression. It was first popularized with Rogue Legacy and is very common nowadays, but it's kind of its own separate thing. Your 50th run in a game like that is going to be very different from your 1st or 2nd run, while in a "true roguelike" like Rogue, DCSS or FTL your starting stats are going to be the same every time. Gaining knowledge of the game as a player is the only way to really become stronger. Personally I like both genres. Both types of games have their own vibe and can be really enjoyable.

It's worth considering that even in the "true roguelikes", your previous runs can sometimes unlock options like character classes or game modes. Things that won't necessarily make you more powerful but can change the way the game is played. That might be a good way to offer sliders or checkboxes for preferences, by making them unlockables.

This game is amazing, it has a ton of potential to be extremely fun in more ways than one. The animations are great, the art is great, the gameplay is great. I need more!

amazing animations and models, only have 1 complaint, the scenes themselves only last about 5-10 seconds and then end on a black screen instead of looping, the scenes should repeat until you press a button to get into another angle/position and/or want it to end, you can't honestly make a porn game and then expect people to finish their "businesses" in just 5-10 seconds or constantly click on a scene repeatedly in the gallery. also i would like some uglier or bestial monsters like orcs/pigmen/minotaurs/trolls/giants.

So you might have already figured this out from testing it but I just tried and you (and I originally) probably had trouble finding the value because it seems as the value gets placed into a new address after either a certain amount of time or turns, so the value changed in the middle of doing scans. So even when you do find the value, you can only mess with it for so long until it changes to another address and you have to scan for it again.

For anyone else wanting to try cheat engine, I've also found that locking your hp value makes the game very unstable and prone to crashing so it's best to just keep resetting back to 100 if you wanna cheat. Curious if there's a work-around for the address changing if anyone was planning on making a cheat mod.

How in the hell did you ever even find the values? i had an amazing run going but the RNG in this is a bit ridiculous, found 3 wands of empowerment and an uncursed vampire ring, but no food, got down to 10 calories and started trying to use Cheat Engine to give me a hand.

Saved game, scanned for 10, shitton of results, walked around to 9 calories, scanned for 9, fewer results, etc, got down to 6 and only had 4 options, none of them controlled anything.

reloaded save, tried again, this time got to 8, dropped to 7 calories, scanned again, no results??

I get godot is a good game engine but wtf are these constantly floating values/variables or something? and i cant find anything online about cheating in godot games without downloading the devtools yourself and straight up editing the game.

Yeah I'm assuming you might be getting unlucky with the variable changing as you're scanning, I def don't find it every time I scan, but it's definitely 2 bytes and at least for the HP value, I can usually find it about 2-3 scans.
