The cap for cum is 135, achieved by corrupted brute threesome. This mod is more tedious than challenging as it restricted me to smacking enemies or throwing weapons instead of using charm rings and letting my enemies pummel each other. Allies are kinda useful now as walking regen boosters but little else. Wouldn't recommend.
I've tested with two minotaurs and the 180 worked. Unless I'm misunderstanding you, and brutes can pass their threshold of 90 at higher levels of corruption.
Smacking enemies and throwing weapons is what I liked best back in 0.2 so it makes sense for me and my playstyle.
On regards to Allies, I've never found them useful and more of an annoyance to manage them, it's probably me though.
I've recently added an HP bonus that caps at double too, it really adds to the pressure and you get more easily swarmed.
I understand if you find it tedious, the strength only bonus felt lacking and I wanted to entertain the idea for a bit, perhaps the +5 per level is too much of a bonus, maybe a +2 or +1 makes more sense.
The mod is really more suited for my personal tastes.
EDIT: Oh and another thing, the bonuses are applied at spawn only, so in the subsequents loops the DungeonGenerator places the initial enemies of the floor with their corruption level and their default base stats. That's probably why you've got a capped 135 with two corrupted brutes, one was newly spawned and the other was the initial one. I liked that slight differentiation, that may confuse you at the beginning.
