this game is hard, cannot pass the lava floor
Is that your first run? Here's some tips:
- Hoard equipment as you progress the levels;
- Sell them at the npc shop pigman and buy strength potions to reach the requirement to use better gear;
- Hitting mobs lets you gain mana points, which lets you use the skill to heal yourself if you dont have health potions;
- Try every scroll/book/wand items you find, that way your character will learn what they do so the next time you find you can keep and use strategically;
- For equipment, wear it only once you find a way to uncurse yourself since unknown gear have a chance to be cursed (cursed items have lower stats and locks in the slot);
- You can throw melee weapons too, so always have one or 2 spare ones with good stats (like the Steel Sword/Hammer) to deal some damage before the mobs get close;
- Keep exploring and trying stuff, part of the fun is experimenting and learning how things work! Save frequently so even if you fail you can just load it back.

Just to add to what The_Knut said:
- Tank for you companions as much as you can, they suck when you recruit them and it is better to treat them as 'extra damage', instead of cannon fodder.
- You can go back up to previous levels. So, any level where you have left gear behind, you can go back and collect it.
NOTE: After traveling X number of steps (100 or so) on any level it will start spawning 'Corrupted' enemies which are just stronger versions of the normal monster, so don't be surprised if you see enemies 'just appear' on levels.
- Don't try to unlock every gallery scene on your first run, you will die from cum inflation long before you achieve that.
- Always fight in hallways or at doorways. Enemies can only attack you one at a time that way.
- Health Potions heal you for full health, so wait until you are down to 30-40 health before using one.
- You can give any equipment you have to your companions, as long as they have the strength to wield it, they will use any NON Cursed equipment that you give them, which will incidentally identify any unknown swords or shields.
- Companions retain any stats and equipment that they gained while in a dungeon. So, don't be afraid to give potions or equipment to your companions.

This alone is advice everyone should take to heart if they want to do well in this game by using companions. You can equip them with better gear and even give them strength potions to let them use better weapons, but ultimately their low health pool makes them easy to die in like 2 or 3 turns. You can heal, and healing your partners is harder than it is to heal yourself. Take the hits, let your partners supplement your damage, and turn every fight into a strategic 2v1. If you can, you should never run away because your partner can and will run into their death if a fight breaks out. If it does and you do, be ready to clean up, find their soul, and then revive them if you want.
- Companions retain any stats and equipment that they gained while in a dungeon. So, don't be afraid to give potions or equipment to your companions.
Buffing the starter kobold can actually be quite the game changer when you get his damage up. Incredibly frail, but yeah, worth investing if you play around it.

How dare you talk about this game difficulty ? :LOL:
how dare they really.

this game is hard, cannot pass the lava floor
As everyone said, hoard loot, sell it, backtrack to sell it if necessary, buy STR potions. as 1st Priority, as 2nd Priority use the money to get more cum max. It goes without saying but keep all the STR potions for yourself, This alone should let you finish a loop. If you get a Regeneration Ring and get the Steel Gear, you are set. When you get to the second Neutral Floor, spend all the money in improving your gear, ring and healing tome.
Use the scrolls asap or sell them,
avoid equipping unidentified gear unless you find no altar or scrolls of identify when you finish the castle. savescum if you want, or if you are playing hardcore, here's the only usefulness of ally NPCs, recruit an ally, you can offer them the gear, if they meet str reqs and do not want it, then it's a cursed item.
This is just me, but if your intention is to beat the game, Personally I would advice against recruiting NPC and go solo, they're high maintenance not worth the output, the buses made them useless. Gameplay-wise the recruiting system is bad and it's there for the H content variety only.

No idea why MagicOrb masturbation event doesn't unlock for me. Maybe using the one in the Debug Area doesn't count? PS: It seems like it doesn't and it doesn't reduce Cum Value, so that explains it. Probably a bug which needs to be fixed.

Anyway, here's a quick port of HFR mod for the current v0.6 EA4. Same as usual:
- High Framerate for Gameplay and Scenes
- Debug Area is available for All game modes
- Auto Scene and Costume unlocker

Also a save with OP stats for a new game loop.

It depends on which item is affected by it. From what I remember:
- Cursed item = Uncurses (lets you un-equip if it's equipment)
- Summon Book = Double summoned minions;
- Melee weapons = Gets the boomerang effect, returning to your inventory after you throw and it hits an enemy.

As far as I know it's currently not possible to intentionally (or not) degrade items, maybe it could become a % based mechanic when the minotaur blacksmith tries to upgrade it, or something like puzzles cursing the item you have equipped or in your inv in case you fail.
(cursed items having exclusive effects that lets you to have risky cursed builds could be a fun twist)

Man, I wished he'd add some kind of challenge into the game. It's almost impossible to lose.
Currently the dev is more focused in adding content to the game, post changes like balancing will probably come later.

Please what's the difference between dx12 and Vulcan download links
The difference should be in how each one runs in your computer, since everyone have different hardware the dev releases two options of the same game for better compatibility with different graphic cards, like Nvidia or AMD ones. For some dx12 runs better while for others its Vulcan, just try it out if you're curious.
