Yep, agreed. Seems like the dev sold the accounts, assets and other game code to someone else and they started shitting around thinking they had a golden goose that didn't need much effort.

First version of this was good up to the end with the cop walking up. 'A' game all around, then the (apparently because I never tried it) next chapter where things went to hell, and now this.

While this is a very good guess it is not another person but the same dev still.
She had a complete mental breakdown at some point and did admit on several occasions to suffering from pretty severe depression and anxiety.
She was AWOL for months at one point.

She did talk about how excited she was to use AI and help her not have to render out so hard but she missed the part about her outstanding field being her renders and did agree she would stop the AI usage after this update.

Yeah, so? AVIF is a very good format, just "some" potato PCs can't handle it, you get the same/better quality images as webp but much smaller sizes.

The female writer of this game used a lot of flashbacks and interludes in the early stage to show the protagonist's depressed and painful mental state.
For those players who don’t understand and find it confusing, I recommend reading more books.
A technique commonly used by many classical masterpieces and well-known modern novelists.

Regarding the graphics ,is multi software rendering. AI processing is not equal to AI painting.
Anyone who is objective and knowledgeable can see that this is a higher level of DAZ rendering.
Each picture has soft edges and the characters are naturally free of grain，different from the traditional DAZ a few years ago , because each picture is the result of repeated rendering by the developer using multiple software.

Any good adult game needs either amazing graphics or a great story.
This game has both.
The writer's original tragic story in the style of the lower classes of Japan.
It is in sharp contrast with works under traditional European and American culture.
If you are tired of the happy harems, you are right to try this game.

Everyone who creates content with care should be respected.
Time will tell.

Here you go, found it. Not that it was hard to find) Include in this main post a lot of other aggressively defensive messages in Dev's Discord when people complained about downgrades of using AI and unnecessary remake of the game.

Her answer to the wave of honest criticism, including her own patrons, with a lot of obvious examples of really bad AI renders with weird skin, fingers, body shapes, eyes, etc. It was written 8 months ago.

Imagine supporting Dev and continuing to play her game after treating her own fan base like trash losers because of well-deserved and civil criticism (no one insulted or called her names). It's obvious that Dev herself is dishonest, immature, and unnecessarily aggressive/dramatic as characters in her own game

the fact that this AVN is different from other AVN's story wise is great. most AVN's today are about the MC being a ultra giga chad that all girls flock toward for no reason but his dick and looks but his personaily is that of a wet noodle. this games MC is broken mentally and i can think of a single game off the top of my head that has a MC just like this one broken and has a tragic past and loss of a woman that effects him mentally and in turn effects his realtionships with others. more AVN's sould be like this real problems with the psych of men and women dealing with their realtionships it screams realism that i feel a lot of AVN's don't project today, but thats my two cents take it of leave it.

i've been playing AVN's for a couple years now and i first saw this game on itch-io when it first came out. it looked unique and i have to be honest i only first tried it because of the ladies in it but after playing it for a while i understood it's not just a empty sex filled AVN but a gripping story of love and loss and that hooked me. yes the nudes are great and all but thats only iceing on the cake and my views about AVN's have changed from when i first started playing them. it's not about lewd content first and foremost anymore but of characters and story that i care about now, yes i do play some AVN's for lewd content when i get bored just for the thrill but it dose not keep me engaged for long.

In order to get the scene with Amber I had to go all the way with Nanami and it was through one obscure choice (do everything you can with Nanami but take her to Madison's room). If you refuse to drink beer with Nanami you instead get the Isabella scene or if you drink with her and then don't wake her up when she falls asleep in your room you get the Elizabeth scene.

Your ability to see the scene with the girl you like is entirely dependant on what you do with Nanami. They are trying really hard to sell that walkthrough.

I have been playing porn games for over a decade. from Flash to RPG to Qsp to VN.
I have 3TB of porn games on my computer. and they are all compressed versions.
Before the remake, this game was pretty average in my eyes.
But now this game looks different to me.
The uniquely tragic rendition of this story now allows me to clearly remember it across hundreds of games.
This author really wants to express something, rather than simply catering to players like most people.

The key is Nanami, let her drink beer both times when you have to choose, go all the way with her, in the end choose to send her to Madison room.
