As for the upcoming Episode, the main event will be the "Home-Alone Party" since Johanna and Tom are going on their honeymoon.

So how does the harem work with the husband being alive? I guess the Milf is off limits or is the husband going to have an accident during the honeymoon? (because if not, something doesn't add up, or does it mean that this is going to have a dose of voyeur? )

God.. why does this always have to be an issue in games that look very promising at the start?

You allow the player to CHOOSE whether they want to peak at her cleavage or not but you don't give the player a choice on whether his dick will be sucked. So you give the player choices for meaningless things, but when the choice would actually matter you don't. This is a porn game and choices around sexual acts are the only choices that matter. And on top of that you mock the player with a ''choice'' with a single option to only say yes, instead of at the very least not prompt a choice that is not a choice at all.

If you don't want to give players actual choices, make it a kinetic novel instead, and tell the story that you want to tell. But you make an illusion that players can make choices, hype them up and then go ''Sike, you don't a choice bitch!''.

I agree, but I felt I had to do it for now to increase the chances of being approved by Steam.

I'm committed to making this VN game the best it can be. While the Prologue is quite linear and doesn't offer significant choices, it serves as an introduction to the characters in Hardenville.

The main concern right now is not the amount of choices but the type of choices. There are choices given for insignificant things while no choice is given for the sex act, which is forced, even though the choice prompt is there but there is only a single choice. So long as sex acts are gated behind choices the rest is not as important. The game won't become better if you simply include more choices along the lines of: ''Does MC have pancakes or bacon for breakfast?'' while keeping sex acts forced.

It's a very promising start. Almost everything is great but there are a couple of things that need some more work. It definitely needs some proofreading and the freckles, at least I assume those are freckles look absolutely horrible. It looks like somebody took a paint brush and just sprayed the character's faces with it. Wishing the dev the best of luck. This game has tons of potential

I appreciate your enthusiasm. I'm committed to making this VN game the best it can be. While the Prologue is quite linear and doesn't offer significant choices, it serves as an introduction to the characters in Hardenville.

Rest assured, I have no plans to abandon this project. In fact, I'm dedicated to completing Hardenville Season 1. The next release, scheduled for late December or early January, will be Episode 1 (last one will be Episode 9), which will contain at least twice the content of the Prologue. This will include more explicit content and sex scenes.

Rendering all the images in 4k takes some time and storage space, but it's worth it for the quality. About half of the file size is dedicated to the music, which might have been a bad decision. But it will play a significant role in Episode 1.

I'm a Norwegian native, so please forgive any occasional English errors.

Thought you've done great so far. Most Certainly better than I
could ever do..

The 1Gb file size is fantastic given the quality of the renders. Lately
some games have been north of 7 or 8 gigs.
I currently use onboard graphics, so the 4k stuff doesn't matter to me. Animations
don't really matter much either since they usually are poorly done or not helpful to
the story.

I also always mute the sounds in these games. I am hooked into a nice multi
speaker home system, and while I do live in the middle of nowhere, I still don't relish
the idea of some of these sounds being blasted that loudly...lol Besides, I usually
have other music playing.

Love that the lighting and colors are 'understated' a bit, rather than loud and proud. You
did a great job in that respect.

Great that you have a beginning and end already 'planned out' rather than an open ended
project.

Thought it was all very nice and though I mentioned the vows part earlier, you've done a great job so far

There needs to be a separate ''mega harem'' or ''harem purist'' tag for the kind of thing you are asking. Harem can be a broader term than the way you use it.

I will highly advise you that to do a proper harem, all the girls need to acknowledge each other being in a harem. Plus, there needs to be every single combination of threesomes and foursomes, and especially group sex with all the girls at once, many times for all these scenario. 99.9% of harem developers fail to do all this.

About pregnancy: if there are pregnant sex scenes, please don't have them be in the epilogue and only have 1 per girl or just a few. Have them get pregnant near the end like Episode 7 and have them be well along in pregnancy (so they have big bellies showing they are obviously pregnant) in Episode 8, so there is lots of pregnant sex. I've seen too many "pregnant at the very end, one time sex" pregnancy scenes in games. Whether or not to let people disable pregnancy at the very beginning is up to you (as well as some other fetishes like urination)
