The sports day expansion unlocks after you've bought all the other upgrades.
Actually I'm at that point: I've completed everything in game.
Ellen keep saying me to buy new seats if I ask her what to do next lol.
The only way to "fix it" I've found so far was to set sportsday=True manually.

Hey guys. Can someone help please? How do you trigger events (or anything) with Nia? When I talk to her and click on "Let's have some fun...", there's no more option. Does someone know?

Autumns family I can't decide what I should think about them. Their religions nut jobs, at least for my perspective and granny "Gaius this", "Gaius that" is putting me on the fence. Also their eye makup tradition, seems also very special to me. Would mean if I marry Hazel she will become a harlot?

On the other side I see were granny come from and even can understand her reason and why she is so pushy. Altough I'm serious consider to rescue both, Hazel and Autum from her granny.

I want to say a few things before I log off for a small while. I am obviously not expecting to make a response to this due to personal reasons and grief, so if one would like to respond, feel free.

1. I want to emphasize that I by no means believe that one has to agree with R, me, Parcel, whoever else has come up nor do you have to like Vanessa. Art, yes this is art, is subjective. You can like something or dislike something. There are real arguments of Star Wars v Star Trek, even though they are not even the same genera. The arguments that exist are those of which genera they prefer, and not what sci-fi property they prefer (Star Wars ain't Sci-Fi). That said, people debate between Mario and Crash of which platforming style they prefer, or between MK and Street Fighter for smaller preferences in 2d fighting games. Someone not liking a character, an event, or a piece of media is obviously fine.
2. This is not directed towards anyone specifically, just a few general complaints. To Dr.Free, my last post was actually a response to someone who said Vanessa had no narrative weight, which was not you IIRC. Although a couple of things you said are in here, this is not a direct response to you.
3. As an artist, R has the final say. Whether or not he executes something well is a fair criticism, and I think the criticism that he didn't handle Vanessa well is fair, even if I don't agree with it. I had a small exchange with him with some things I didn't quite like about the museum event this update, and I think he'd adjust those things if he made the event tomorrow. I also had a small exchange over Autumn's shower arc with him, and how I wasn't a big fan of some of the event structures he was trying in v10. R and I have disagreements, but it has to be framed reasonably and in good faith. Blanket statements or wishing to kill characters off aren't good-faith arguments or discussions.
4. As for the complaints about politicization, this has been coming since the beginning. Lin's story either ends with her free or it doesn't, and I doubt most decent people are going to end it with "she doesn't". If one desires to have it end with her still in bondage, I want nothing to do with you. That means to tell her story effectively, the narrative has to become political as it explores emancipation, fighting for freedom, etc. It is difficult to say "I want to be free and equal" without touching upon the turbulent fight for freedom, the baby steps to cultural equality, the pushback, etc. One may not like it, but it is true, and I am in the camp where I am saddened where that is true. Meanwhile, Kali's story, the negative effects of wealth, was going to similarly follow political paths, because, in most democratic societies, wealth, power, and politics are intertwined. Finally, there's Autumn, who deals with religion, and anybody who says religion isn't politics has no idea what they are talking about. Politics and religion are peanut butter and jelly, and that's true even if discussing atheism and/or secularism. These were always the political ones, and I think most political characters are going to be met through their stories. So far, I've been right.
5. As for the "MAGA and Antifa" complaints or critiques on general leftism, grow up snowflake (always wanted to say that). R has used real-world precedent for worldbuilding, one of which I argued with him over was the use of a "Showa" state for the common elf queen. The revolution described is the French Revolution retold. R likes to use real-world examples to build his universe, if MAGA and Antifa are used as inspiration, don't expect him to agree with you because he is not obligated to. If your issue is their use in general, reassess what you're playing. This ain't a pork simulator, this is a narrative that happens to have porn. I see it closer to ASOIF than Summertime Saga.
6. Getting back to Vanessa, yeah she was a bitch. The event absolutely could've been handled differently. Hindsight is 20/20 but there also needs to be a recognition that not everybody can be pleased. R does have some habit of making unlikeable characters loveable as time goes on, so these issues are expected to fade into the background from my perspective. Even if he doesn't, nobody is forcing you to play this game, Vanessa's story when it inevitably happens, or support R if one does. I hate to sound bitchy myself, but this is a free market, take it or leave it.

Edit, per a reasonable request:

MAGA is referring to Make America Great Again.
ASOIF is the formal acronym for a franchise more commonly known as Game of Thrones.

I'm internet limited with a dumb quota, anyone for a v0.11.1 compress please ? Thanks !
As you see here:

A compressed version is not (yet) avaiable for 0.11.1. I do believe somewhere on the forum would have a compress game request thread, although I didn't find it on my quick search. Other than that there is a patch that allows you to update your game. We can't help more than that.;)

First thing, could you reformat your text? Between 1., 2., ... would be nice to have space otherwise I be a little batter by the wall of text.;)

1. and 3. is for me (and should be) normal human behaviour. Shouldn't be needed to add this to a post in my view, yet I know some others can't distinguish between their own view point and fact as well as request, opinion and demands.

4. I really want to have Lin in bondage, by her own free will and for our pleasure.:sneaky: I don't know if Lin will be freeded at the end, that possibility is up to Runey. Yet I know that Lin will be free, from the beginning she was for me free.

5. MAGA? Make America Great Again? Would help to have the abbr. defined. At least for myself my mother tongue isn't english and I often don't know them.
ASOIF? Association of Summer Olympic International Federations?
Other than that, I see it mostly the same.

6. I didn't really have a problem with Vanessa. Sure she is a bitch and I agree that writting could have be done otherwise. The inside joke between her and Mala (?) about the MC wasn't very clear for me and Kali and the MC were most passive in the scene. Yet I don't know what they could say or do that would have change Vanessas's view of them.

The MC now owns not only the one slave elf that he had inherited, but 5 more that he actualy brought himself. Even if this was for the "greater" good, I don't think that Vanessa would believe them, as Nia and Sylvia hasn't believed the MC and Lin, when they first meet.
From her one-sided view he is a slave owner, a landlord and the boyfriend of the Tereano girl. If she would know that he also interact with Cornwall and Autums family, I think, she would see us as enemy number one. So I think, she needs time to see, interact and have first hand expirence with the MC and his cohort before she will change. And from what I know about Runey, this will most likely also involve something sexy.

Why do I think about a scene with MC, Lin and Vanessa. Where MC finds to Lin in the mail, coffee shop or wahtever "strip", Lin take her cloths off, Vanessa goes around the "Evil slave owner force his twisted will on his defenceless slave". Then Lin strip, explain and convice Vanessa to do the same. And on top off it, some of Vanessa's friend see it and later make fun of it because the "righteous" Vanessa has also strip for the "evil slave owner".

It's true that the game has become more overtly and pervasively political than it was at the start, but the issues/politics have been there from the beginning.

And as I explained, this isn't enough to say the story is political (at that point)
Imagine this scenario: TV drama about a dysfunctional family, where the waife asks for the divorce at some point, but the father insists on keep going to raise the kids together.
This on its own isn't political, but at most, a moral dilemma about what to prioritize, your own well being or your children's.

Just because there is something political, that is to say, the divorce, doesn't mean the story is political. Its a moral drama, at most.
Now, if in the next 20 episodes we go through the intricacies of marriage, the history of how it got separated from the church and became a state contract, and political parties talking about the value of a nuclear family, then I can grant you, it became a political story, to a degree.

I don't feel like the absence of one line pushing back at Vanessa really would have changed the tone of the theme.
I just disagree on this. It would've absolutely changed the whole tone if she got some push-back. I will refer, yet again, to the previous update where Kali pushed back.
You insist on projecting stuff onto Runey that he just doesn't believe. It's not a good look.
You may want to re-read our my and Runey's previous exchange. He literally told me "I get that you would've pushed back, but MC isn't like that. He is a nice guy, and he sit, listened, and got educated" I am paraphrasing it, but I don't feel like going through that again.
I don't particularly care about my looks, if you haven't noticed by all my snipes at Runey, but I care about getting things straight and clearly: Runey thinks that "a nice guy" would sit down and get educated by this blackmailing bitch.

There are all sorts of ways for media to convey a message, and not all of them involve a character explicitly voicing the message. If you want a character in the story to tell you "The moral of the story is X", that's fine, but it's unreasonable to get mad when that doesn't happen. Reading subtext is a pretty essential skill for analyzing media, and I don't feel like you applied it to this scene.
As I said, thats fine on a meta level. The tone of the scene itself, free of "audience reading subtext" is solely determined by what happens and what the characters do about it.
Anyway, I think I'm done with this conversation. It's not going anywhere. Feel free to respond to this message, since there's no reason I should have the last word just because I'm dropping the conversation.
Thanks for the nice chat. I appreciate the polite tone through it, just to let you know.
We can just disagree on how this scene was portrayed and leave it at that.

She wont be as pissy in v0.12, once she knows your not the bad person she assumed you were.
The fact that she assumed it in the first place already speaks volumes about her character and the person she is. Not only did she assume, she held it over her classmate, made a public scene, and practically force marched you down to a library to get "educated". There's really no narrative way to make any of those three seem like decent human beings at this point.

I would like to know which parts you saw as real world politics in that event, or how these characters were one dimensional.
They are one dimensional because they have an overly simplistic worldview and no room has been left for them to grow and develop. Vanessa went into a self-righteous tirade at the very mention of the word 'slave'. There was no room for context or nuance or any actual thought in her world. Nor any consideration for anothers thoughts or feelings on the matter. She doesn't even show consideration for the basic human dignity of the people she's screaming at. Again she calls them out right in public in front of whoever might be in class, branding Kali based on what she has assumed in her own mind the situation is. The fact that she may be aware she has a fault does not make her even two-dimensional unless it she ends up growing because of it. But she obviously doesn't care about it because knowledge of it certainly limit her behaviour to Kali and the MC.

This to me seems fairly two dimensional.
I don't think you understand what a two dimensional character is. At least if you were trying to give her faults, like you said. Two dimensional characters don't have faults because they are just archtypes that are meant to fade into the background and flesh out the story. They don't have things like actual histories or personalities.

What you seem to mean is that you were trying to make her a three dimensional character, but you forgot the other two dimensions.

I don't understand why Runey is being criticized for portraying one of the most realistic characters in the whole game. I'm currently in college, I'm surrounded by people who think like Vanessa. They're passionate about an issue(and I think we can all agree that slavery is something that we should condemn), and despite being narrow-minded as fuck, I wouldn't call them "bad people".

She(and those people in my University) is basically Hermione from Harry Potter. In fact, I'd be pretty surprised (although I won't speak for Runey) if the elf-slave storyline isn't at least partially inspired by S.P.E.W. I can definitely see Hermione dragging a person who owns a house-elf to the library to "educate them" on elf rights.

Would you consider Hermione to be a completely trash human being? This pushback to "cancel" Vanessa is completely baffling to me - did you also stop reading Harry Potter because Hermione was being a self-righteous prick, emailing J.K Rowling to kill Hermione off in the next book?

**On a side note, hate J.K Rowling and what she did to the series for SJW bonus points, but I think the inclusion of the S.P.E.W storyline was OK.

Also, is this the first time that you saw a self-righteous character, or a downright asshole featured in a porn game? Roxxy in SummerTime Saga, Maddison in Radiant...it's basically a cliche at this point.

God, just because Runey indulges your bullshit doesn't mean that you have the right to act like assholes. The game is great, and I'm looking forward to 0.12 :D

Many of the characters in this game have given poor first impressions. Kali was a bitch, Ashley was a yandere, Emma and Felicity were bullying bitches and Autumn was a close minded fundamentalist. Each one of those characters has changed over time as we've gotten to know them better and as they've matured. I'm certain we'll see the same with Vanessa.

Adds another girl to the game. The only one with real powers. But it's recommended to to that after all the main girls join the hotel, otherwise it won't make sense what she does with you.
