You can use MEGA even if you reached the transfer limit just grabe a VPN change your destination and the Download should continue normally. (it even works with crap, free VPNs). I think the transferlimit is bound to your IP and when you change your IP via VPN it thinks you didnt reached the limit already. Sry I am German dont judge the wording/grammer etc.
That doesn't work too well with a download manager, they won't even let you start it. And the redirect links makes it a real PITA to use anyway.

Nopy was great tbh, I can live with Mega though. I hope this was a one time thing and we don't lose more.
There are still some other good ones (when they get used), but I won't use mega if there is any other option, they are just too much of a pain (my arm is disabled, clicking and scrolling hurts me, so adding extra clicks to the process causes me physical pain), and anything over 4-5gig or whatever their limit is, won't ever start on my downloader anyway.

Yeah, not sure which will replace nopy.
It was fairly quick for me as well as the fastest out of the usual choices, and as Devian said, didn't require any muss or fuss to use with downloaders.
I think it was anon that I have used a few times but is just painfully slow as compared, like by several hours.... Another wants a capcha each time you try..... We'll see. I bet business has picked up on those now though... lol
Also, mega can be a pain if you start several transfers before you goto sleep, for example...

Oof. The lack of Nopy is definitely going to put a dent on my willingness to download larger files. Mega annoys the crap out of me with that 5gb limit and how shamelessly it pushes us to download that app I will never get and the others are just so monumentally slow for the most part that I don't even consider using them to begin with.
The only other host that had acceptable speeds for me was zippy but I very rarely see that one being used, so I imagine there's some sort of catch to it too, like uploaded file size limits or something.

So Lin and the MC in what sure as hell isn't the hotel, unless new renovations were done. Maybe they went on ritzy vacation or maybe they have a place of their own? I'm sure as hell curious about this. Day 827, I know that really doesn't mean much, but still, two years into the game, looks like something certainly changed.

Whoever made this game, don't you dare fucking stop until its completed, ( don't care what anyone else says ), and I would gladly give this game a 10/10, easily, so ty for a great game so far.

It is one of those games where I would not mind the dev just working on it in perpetuity. 100 years from now, Runey's head in a jar will still keep making this game, with future generations still asking daily when the next update will be. Traditions must be upheld.
With how things are going, I wouldn't bet on the safety of other sites, either, unless they all start being proactive against the things that get them this kind of treatment, which renders them useless to us.
There are better options for now, that might change sooner rather than later if this NOPY issue was any indication.

There was discussion a while back about upgrades, though mostly centered around a character concept, a girl in a wheelchair. There was talk mostly about how she would get around considering no elevator in sight. While I would be worried about Runey's well being if he did, I wouldn't mind the game taking the permanently continuous update route, either.
There will always be ways to host them, even if we have to do it ourselves with file sharing and torrents, the problem is the same though, how to get payments when everyone who handles the money is anti-porn? We need to get porn officially declared a basic human right.
This is why he takes some time off between updates. Help recharge the batteries. I hope I can manage that at some point, but I am far too much of a work-a-hollic.

Lol, couldn't agree more, ( but I think sticking with just one game, might get a monotone, ( just my opinion though ), but who doesn't want a game to get finished, especially a game, ( or games in general too ), that catches one's eyes, which, unfortunately, doesn't happen often, but when a game comes along that DOES catch one's eyes, well.....
, ( lol, I thought, honestly, that, My New Family wouldn't get far, that it would turn into a "Why the hell did I even bother", but instead I came to totally fall in love with that game, the story, and the characters ), so I can honestly say that, that goes for this game as well, ( hey, I'm picky when it comes to game, the characters, story, background stories for each of the characters. etc. ), all have to appeal to me, otherwise its a waste of time, ( apologies if that sounded offensive, lol ), anyways, yeah, I agree, I just hope this is one of those games that gets abondonned.I agrey.
