All songs I use are royalty free songs I find online, so it mostly depends on me finding that stuff. But I did name one of them "Lin's Melody", which is the song she plays on the piano, and the one Android recreates. I'm not sure if they would fit in each character's room, but that is a solid suggestion I will keep in mind.

Are there any mechanics you think could be improved in Harem Hotel? I want everything to be as fun and enjoyable as possible, and not like a grind. I find training pretty fun though, some might consider that a grind, but I try to make each training option different enough (and also plan on adding more in the far future, instead of just 4 per training option.)

I would ask for opinions on the story, but I think most of you who would reply are already fans of the story and are interested in seeing where it goes next, otherwise you probably wouldn't be here haha. So I'm assuming I've got that nailed down, generally speaking.

A lot of content in the earlier parts of the game is always being remade, but that is quickly coming to an end. I can only think of a handful of things that need to be remade now, in either better visual quality or writing quality. (Be sure to replay in v0.15 and let me know what you think!)

I also want to add more to do in the earlier parts of the game, stuff that is fun. Maybe Ellen content? Or something else? I know there is a problem of people feeling like there is not much to do earlier in the game, and I really want to fix that. What do you guys think?

Money in the early and mid game is quite tight, especially if you don't rush for Kali's Dad's money and spend it all on the Bar.
Even just buying one elf, which a new player would be very much inclined to do, can set you back a lot.
Maybe a few scenes about that with Ellen and the option to earn additional money. Maybe a side job for the MC since the early game has times where there's not much to do? Not really sure what kind of job would work to be honest.

Again Ellen, since she knows more about the world than the MC, could tell him if he actually wants to make a change he'll need capital and should invest in the hotel first before getting more elves he can't sustain.

The hard version of this would obviously just be a "I don't have enough income to sustain the elves, I should upgrade the Bar and Hotel first" thinking dialogue from the MC when trying to buy an elf.

Sorry this turned into unorganized rambling, I hope it's still somewhat useful feedback.


Oh and one more QOL improvement. When using the stairs to go somewhere have the options always be the same. (Maybe with the one you are at greyed out).
Not sure why but if I'm looking for someone and clicking through the areas quickly I often find myself going from one floor to another but still clicking the option in the menu that would be correct when traveling from the lobby.
Example:
Using the stairs from the lobby is 2nd floor, 1st floor, your room, dungeon.
Using it from the second floor is 1nd floor, lobby, your room, utility room,dungeon.

It's such a slight change in menu items but I still frequently miss click on lobby in the above example. Might just be a problem I have though.

I've found myself having that issue as well, I sometimes misclick those options when I'm going somewhere fast. I may work on this before v0.15 launches since it would be so easy, thanks!

Harem Hotel is not, and never was, a porn game. Harem Hotel has always been an Adult Visual Novel. That is, a book with visuals and adult themes. There is certainly an aspect of porn in this game, but that is not the genre I would apply, or the main focus really.

I would disagree with that from a gameplay point of view. The main "gameplay" (that is not reading) is sex training; submission or exhibitionist training. Having "fun" with the girls, buying them sexy outfits. Yes, the novel part is an adult visual novel, agreed. I don't mean to give the impression it's a bad story or bad "game" btw, it's just an interesting evolution of the game. In v12 my favourites were Lin, Android and Kali. At the end of v14, Lin and Android became my bottom two while the twins and Ashley jumped to the top from the main cast, while I am looking more forward to the continuation of the stories of Moon, Ellen, Kate and Hana.

On another note, suggestions for mechanics:
I am guessing you already have plans to expand the lust mechanic, it's definitely something I enjoy.
Expanding the taking pictures of the girls could be a nice addition to make money in the early game (I didn't have an issue, but I know to focus on the bar 1st).
Other than that, I think just focusing on general QOL will enhance the game massively (navigation mostly) since there is already many good mechanics in the game they can just be expanded with more content.

I must first say that I like the game very much, especially the story surprised me. The story with Ashley is also very interesting, because the development from loneliness to the search for being loved. She's also just crazy and I like that.


Things I miss and wish for:

Training: It would be nice if all characters have the same options for training. for example, even if a character would never drink the piss, it would be possible through hard training and the character will love it ( comes to your room and asks for a sip of piss or cum as "food").

It would be nice to have the possibility to make a pet out of every character. With the possibility to do more pet training, let's say I want my pet to walk on all fours. Or to sleep next to the bed. There would be for example also a nice update possible from a blanket on the floor to a dog/cat basket for the girls.The idea that they only eat and drink from one bowl ? from computer more toys for pets, sexual and as a pastime.

How about if there is an extra level as a status, for example, you train only the anal of the character and the girl then also wants more anal. this also works with other things, you can develop freely.

Relationship: I would also like to invite girls to my room and take them to the garden or onsen where you have a date or just want to spend time. So a little more freedom to do what you want with the characters.

Leisure activities, cook something together or go shopping (clothes, jewelry, toys ? stuffed animals ?). make vacation on the yacht, island or what is possible. How about buying a cottage where you can go with 1-all the girls ?

A more fatherly relationship with Ashley ? whether dirty or you also have the possibility to be completely like a father but without dirty things.

The story with the andorid is also very interesting, I would also like more freedom from secretly program something to shape the way you want it. or you have the choice to do nothing and that is free.

The elven in the sanctuary should also be trainable or even a love story ?

Other:
-Dress pets the way you want them to be dressed. Let girls live in their own room.
-Buy more items from computer (bdsm, sex toys, pet collar, basket for sleeping and more).
-Upgrade the bar, kitchen, garden (appearance, clothes arrangement, events planning).
-Make sanctuary bigger and rescue or enslave more elves.
-Simply more freedom in playing, that it feels more like sandbox.
-every girl has hobbies and you can buy them things that fit the hobby. books, magazines buy candy for the girls ?
-more activities where you can go when you want without specific days. Cinema, zoo, market ?
-I do not know if this is possible, different clothes for the MC ?
-As discussed in the story before was with Lin, another hotel ? for the very late future.

More freedom means also to insert things where you can choose good or evil ( soft/extreme ). would be great if you could also let out the sadist and treat characters badly.

My hope would be that he can learn magic or through a magical tool is able to use magic. Where you can also learn magic spells. then even more freedom and possibilities are available.

Great game, I'm sure I've forgotten a few things, but I hope you'll find something that appeals to you?

look forward to the next updates and am curious how it continues with the girls.

I think you are right. Been a while for me too.
Not sure when she tells you though. I'll keep a look out for this when replaying during the next patch.

I just went through a playthrough. I remember going up to the desk, and just buying it. Don't remember being told about it.

But, in the beginning, I always cheat code money in using the console, so if she actually comes to the MC about it, I never see it. I like everything ready and built within the first few days.

I've added a lot more outfits in v0.15, this should fix any issues for the late game. Some people make the mistake of buying all the outfits first instead of the bar though. I haven't received much complaints from those who buy and upgrade the bar early. Is anyone else having money issues?

I had money issues between upgrading the bar and purchasing the elves for the sanctuary. The bar is generally good for passive income, but not enough time passed between these 2 events for me, to generate enough to buy all the elves. It meant that I had to wait a long time to get enough. How big is the profit from the maximum advertisement bonus? It didn't really feel that substantial when I was trying to save up. Maybe that could be raised?

I am always a fan of more repeatable content, especially when there is some exhibitionism involved.

Maybe he could go on walks, maybe a chance to see someone fucking their slave, or being fucked by their anadroid (like that woman on the beach), or something like that.

Could go to shops to buy things in person, not just order on line, like going to buy outfits from the clothing shop, especially if we can get then to change in the store, but that is another story. XD

Maybe go to the cafe, talk to Hazel, maybe even see Autumn early, even if you can't talk to her yet.

Expanding what we can do when visiting the girls at work or school is always fun.

We used to be able to order a pizza to be delivered, but can't now, have to go pick it up. Might be nice to have some similar options with Luci while she is supposed to be working too, to have some fun when she brings your pie, even if we can't do anything with her at work yet. Give her a tip and have some fun.

Hmm, not sure how you could deal with what I'm about to suggest, so feel free to ignore it.
In early game (and parts of later game) when you are waiting for new events to happen... the MC doesn't have anything to do... In fact, thinking on it, the MC doesn't seem to do anything for himself that doesn't involve any of the girls (which is understandable considering that the game revolves around sexy times and an amazing story)

Maybe make it so the MC can go out and about, see the local area (chance for more worldbuilding? seeing how other elfs live and deal with their lot in life (don't even need to make models for this, just use darkened blank characters, the nameless faceless people that you see then forget) ... could be used as a means to give the MC some motive/drive, as sometimes it feels that he is just following along with the girls stories, what about his story? what drives him to some of his actions?)

alternatively give the player something to do during these downtimes in story (and after story, while waiting for new updates) could be something simple like a little minigame (that could give potential rewards/unlocks?) or just something that gives the player a sense of something to do (instead of someone) instead of "oh, I need to wait [X] days for [X] event"

Honestly though, besides for that, I think the game is amazing and am always looking forward to a update (and I always start from stratch)

Well, I did have an idea where the MC could take a shower when no one is using it, and then a random girl could enter to have fun with him, maybe base it on their stats some how, like whatever sex act they are doing, + a bonus for lust points, idk... lol

Off the top of my head I can think of Ellen, Ann, and that nameless drunk woman in the bar (who suspiciously looks like one of the teachers but I could be mistaken ). Speaking of the drunk bar lady, she definitely needs more scenes as well!

I 'enjoy' not having a lot of money in the game tbh, took me a few 'NEW GAME' to figure things out exactly the way I wanted it though. Would be nice to have shortcuts to all rooms wherever MC is in the hotel but I don't know if it's possible...or nice once it's there.

Right now, there's only one Story event that brings them both there. Don't know what the future holds. You can also do the joint pictures with them for lots of $$$$$ if you want.

I'd personally like the twins date/Dungeon thing myself. Hopefully it'll happen.
