Tomorrow or FridayIs there a specific day v15 is going public?
Harem Hotel has no grinding in it. This is by design and from the feedback I have gotten, I reduce it everywhere I can, and the majority of feedback I get it is "I have too much money, give me more things to spend it on." Any grinding is purely optional, like if you for some reason wanted every outfit by day 30. Harem Hotel has passive income galore.
By grinding I mean having to do minor things or just skip time to get through some of the weeks to get paid by the bar to have the money to do certain tasks or pay back money loaned if you don't use some type of money cheat....
what grinding?if anything I need MORE grinding, and more stuff to buy (especially in the dungeon) to train all girls into perfection
I can't believe I forgot to subscribe to your Patreon until now, just did. I do try to support the devs I mod.Tomorrow or Friday
It gives you time to work on the other girls, and just have fun with them. You are not supposed to focus on just one person.I'm not as negative about it as I seem to make it sound, but it blocks the story from progressing and that's the problem I have with it. Make more cosmetics and add-ons to buy with it, great. But don't leave me grinding just to try and complete the story. That's bad design, in my opinion.
I thought that was an option, at least once... I remember something with Ellen about a debt forgiveness or something... Never had money issues, so I have no idea how it works though. One idea that could make money management more engaging (and realistic), could be that of letting the MC go into debt if he mess up, and Trenero could back it up only through advertisement. This way, more clients would flock to the bar, but that would mean the MC should employ one or more girls as staff, and their profitability would vary depending on how well they have been trained and are in love with the MC.
I went into debt to pay for android's new body. We lived on bread and water for almost 3 months. Dark times indeed.I thought that was an option, at least once... I remember something with Ellen about a debt forgiveness or something... Never had money issues, so I have no idea how it works though.
Work on Android's story...People I have a problem I don't know if it's a bug, when I go to talk to Maria after giving her the succubu suit she sends me directly to the outside door but apart from that nothing else happens.... what can I do?
I added that to the Walkthrough/Cheat Mod when I took over Lain's Mod....
My only issue is that I would like events like that to tell you before you start them, so you can plan for it. Not start them until you are ready. Can't remember if he said he was going to do that or not...
...
Thanks, but I don't mod ren'py games any more. Generally cause more issues than they solve. "If it ain't broke..." I love mods and modding in general, but usually avoid it for these games.I added that to the Walkthrough/Cheat Mod when I took over Lain's Mod.
Edit:
I thought I had a pic showing that in the images I put in the Mod Post but I don't have a pic to show you.
What makes Lains original work so great though is that it isn't just a WT mod. It adds many new scenes and functions. Thanks, but I don't mod ren'py games any more. I can only think of one game I would want one for, and it would require an artist to recreate old sprites.
More scenes would be nice, but I don't want to risk it. When the game is done, then I can see it, but in the meantime, the down sides are not worth it to me. I have never needed a walkthrough for this game, and I suppose that I usually only hear about the mods when people are complaining about what they broke, so I admit to being a bit jaded about them these days. What makes Lains original work so great though is that it isn't just a WT mod. That's why I'm grateful that Lord Ashram is working on it. A great piece of software would otherwise be lost.
I can respect that.More scenes would be nice, but I don't want to risk it. When the game is done, then I can see it, but in the meantime, the down sides are not worth it to me. Most of the complaints relate to saves being locked to the mod, at least the ones here. There are other games I follow, where the mods break shit all the time, but that is usually with Unity games, not Ren'Py.I can respect that.
About the people complaining about mod problems... well 99% of the userbase is too stupid to even find the /game folder so no surprise there...
Ooooooo.... Pretty purple... XDSome new quality of life features.
Black outlines around menu options, money, day number. (And this menu shows where you currently are so it always remains the same)

Or the complain mod version x don't work wit game version y, yet mod version x wasn't made for game version y.Most of the complaints relate to saves being locked to the mod, at least the ones here.
Does this mean when v0.15 drops i'll have to wait for Ashram to update his mod before i can play since my save is from a modded version? If that's the case, is he going to be able to just release a quick continuation mod whilst he works on the full update or is that not possible even if planned? Most of the complaints relate to saves being locked to the mod, at least the ones here.
I get what you are saying and my mods are not a 5 second mod job. I work very hard to ensure they do not break the games. Some of the mods I have even worked with the dev of those games for various reasons including helping fix issues in their games. If an issue comes up, I am pretty quick to fix it as I make these mods for myself so it would ruin the gaming experience if the mod broke anything as I do play through all the games I mod which is also the reason why my mods sometimes take a day or longer to get released after the game gets updated. Thanks, but I don't mod ren'py games any more.
