You can get it on Itch though. Safer than Steam anyway, at least if you buy something there, you own it. Steam can just decide to stop letting you play.
LMAO good joke. Dev on itch can just make next version (or the same) 1$ more expensive and you can't download anymore...

Fortunately for us, Runey the dev of the game releases it here about a week later, for free.
And they are correct about Steam.
Steam is as bad as Amazon Kindle, with its ability to take away a persons right to use something that they had previously paid for.

Yeah, but once you have the game, they can't take it from you. Best to only buy complete games though. XD

Yeah. Still super scammy.
Depends on what they charged for it, I suppose.
You can risk similar issues on Steam when you get early access games too though, just look at Kerbel Space Program 2. Or even Dragon Age 4, my friend bought it, and tried to get a refund, but the time it took him to not hate his MC in the character creator meant that he was no longer eligible for a refund.
But we are getting off topic here.
So here is someone patting the Lin figure, taken from the discord.

People keep saying Steam can just take my games away but, like... They're stored on my computer hard drive. I can play them without an internet connection. I can uninstall steam and still play them. I've done so.

So what the fuck are you lot on about? Is Gabe Newell going to kick down my door and purge my SSD?

"What if" scenarios. It's definitely happened on other store fronts and likely has on steam at some point. Is it something they do on a daily basis? No. Is it something to be concerned in about in the long term since they're often not giving you a refund? Yes. Sure you have your downloaded copy, but if something happens to that copy, there's a solid chance you're SOL unless you're sailing the high seas for an alternate copy.
