Holy Shit... a little query about the update, and the salt kings could not let it slip. LOL. Chill your balls, people.

I follow like 30+ games, and my alerts #s are crazy when I open F95. not to mention that I don't usually spend too much time reading the comments and all. because shit can pile up real quick here.

A good reference could be the number of pages increased since my last comment the day before yesterday. So going back and reading shit is a waste of time when good Samaritans can share those details with minimal effort.

and Thanks to Evil and c3p0 for their opinions as well... But what do you do when you need to look for something? you either search Google and post on some forum or shit and get relevant answers there or browse through every possible search page for answers...

The answer varies with each individual, as no one is made same. So, thanks for the follow up guys and please be less salty to lazy dudes like me who are casually browsing through shit and look for info... it's just the web and a porn site on top of that... we're all fellow degenerates here, so there's no need to nag about anyone's slight miss-ups.

Based on one of the bugs with Pixel's new route, it might be better to wait, and hope that gets fixed first.

The next release is being worked on, and a beta of it is on Runey's Patreon page.
But it is not a beta of the whole release.
It is for testing purposes only, and any saves made with it, may potentially cause crashes with the full release.
Give it time, and before you know it, you will once again be able to experience the joys of patting your favorite girl or girls on the head.

But remember, practice safe head patting.
Pat them gently on the head.
Don't play Whack a Mole with them.

I found a Android port (by Wills) but the .rpa file is too big, around 6GB. Any compressed Android port..??

Maria level 30 event is bugged and will not auto trigger for some reason, no cheats used but added lain mod.
And it seems is a variable in the save file that is set to true instead of false... Any idea if this was reported or where can i report it? Or is reintroduced with the mod?

Yeah, it's been reported before, both here and on Discord. I shared a fix for it here:

I haven't tested it with Lain's Mod installed but it should work just fine.

Thank you, i tried to search something here about it but either i haven't used the right search criteria, either i did something wrong. could not find anything. I am past that bug by editing the save file and changing one variable to false. Either way thank you again for the fix and support. I am gonna test it with Lain mod and edit this post to see if is working or not.

Later Edit: tested it with Lain mod but it seems is not working but i used a save that is right before the event so it might be that. If i will do another playthough, will test it again and come with the results.

latest joiplay (not from app store) can start games from sd card.

It's really a shame about this game. Once it was one of my favorites. The sad part is, the lack of updates coincide with the most uninspired part of the game -- in an otherwise very inspired game, by porn game standards at least.

Runey was going through a rough patch but I've heard things are mostly back on track. v0.18 is currently on beta.

As was just said, Runey had a rough patch with the loss of his father, and was the one who had to deal with all of the arrangements and such, afterwards.
Not to mention the time needed to grieve his loss, before he could return to a state of mind where he would even be able to work on Harem Hotel.

Such a work as Harem Hotel requires a clear mind and an ability to focus on it, but what he just went through made focusing on it impossible for a period of time, which created a longer delay between releases than is normal for the game...

Game devs are not machines, they have real lives and issues that they have to deal with, just like everyone else does.
So, when they have to deal with issues like Runey just did, there will be delays and a loss of inspiration, which will affect game releases until they are in a frame of mind that will allow them to move on...

As for the uninspired comment, well the game has been building up to this from almost the beginning.
From the time when all of the main characters were in the hotel, it was pretty obvious where the story of the game was going.
Overthrow the government, and free the elves and the androids.

So, the last few updates have been very heavily invested in bringing out that content, and in my opinion, Runey has done an amazing job with that.
Mind you, I play for the story, and the porn is nothing more than a bonus, because just the story makes downloading this game, as large as it is, well worth it.
Although, anyone coming here for porn, may be discouraged, because Runey spends so much time on building the story, and not so much on the porn, because the porn is not the important part of the game.
In essence, Harem Hotel is not a "porn game", it is an interactive visual novel, that has porn in it, but the story is the main reason that it exists. Sadly, some people seem to think that since it has porn in it, it is a porn game, even though the porn is not the reason that Harem Hotel exists.
It's on F95 and has porn in it, so they mistakenly consider it to be nothing more than a porn "game".
Even though seeing Autumn take advantage of the loophole is a much anticipated event, that is still simply a part of the story, of Autumn throwing off the oppression of her corrupt church.
F95 is loaded with games that are focused on porn, so people looking for porn have lots of options.
But visual novels like this are priceless for the story...

WTF are you talking about? Runey updates the game three times a year, with hours of content each update. Couldn't ask for a better schedule.

His update quantity dropped in 2023 due to taking a grieving break because a family member passed away, but that's to be expected.

Updates are regularly released give or take 3–4 times a year and from what I read, he had to deal with family loss and let me tell you this... losing someone is harder than you might think, even if the person was not a favorite. I also saw that you said it was the most uninspired one, and again, losing someone will do that to you. Considering the game is constantly updated, tells me there is a lot of care for it and desire to complete it, no matter how long it would take. There are plenty of other amazing AVN out there to make it for the time between updates.
Now about the game... I love the general idea, character development that honestly, if you analyze it, goes from light fun to deep morals and emotional situations and this is something I love into a VN, is not just a sex game but a story that makes you immersed into it.

Harem Hotel was not, it was one of the few which actually made me actually invested in its world, even though lately I lost interest in it.

I can understand someone losing interest in a story over time.
The clues for where Harem Hotel was going have been there for a long time, but anyone who had not played the releases as they came out could have missed some of those clues until the story was well under way.
They could easily have missed some of the clues, if they focused a bit too much on completing events, rather than think about what they were reading.

Runey being a dev who builds up the characters personalities had spent a lot of time on mainly doing that, but along the way the clues appeared in the story.

Elven slavery was bad, was often mentioned.
The government was corrupt, was often mentioned.
The church was corrupt, was often mentioned.
The androids had huge potential, and also were being mistreated, was often mentioned .

There were also traits that the characters showed.
Nia of course had knowledge about the underground, and fighting.

Autumn is our eyes into the corruption of the church, and with her families high standing in the church, she can see and learn things that outsiders would never see.

Our loveable android baby maker (literally) is sentient, which shows the potential of what the other androids could be, and her story shows the cruelty in the world, not just to the androids, but to the elves as well.

Kali is our eyes into the government, through the contacts that her family has, and she is also perfectly placed to be able to assist the android in her quest to improve the lives of other androids, and also to help the elves.

Maria, is the one with the skills and qualities to be a spy, and get close to powerful people to get pillow talk intel from them.

Lin, has demonstrated, in just the last release, that she has what it takes to be a leader, and to fight for what she believes in. (She has already gained Sylvia as a follower, and Sylvia would not have been someone that we could have expected to follow someone else easily.)

Sylvia has knowledge of mining the crystals, and their use, as well as knowledge of the elven island country that could all prove useful.

Ashley has knowledge of the criminal underworld, and knows the streets where they can be found, and people who can pass on knowledge about what is going on.

It's believed at this point, that the twins own father is a powerful figure in the underworld, and that knowledge might be useful later.

Many of the side characters also have skills and traits, or contacts that could also be useful later.

Without even trying, the people who have what it takes to do it all, have slowly been coming together.

All of that points towards overthrowing the government, the church, freeing the slaves and helping the androids to evolve and be free...
