Right, perhaps I didn't make myself clear—I should have said she wasn't dating the man she was seeing at the time, who later became her ex-boyfriend.

And I've noticed you're particularly keen on winning arguments.

You're off on another wild tangent. Inventing an ex-boyfriend for Carly—someone incapable of bringing her to climax during intercourse, yet able to do so with his hands alone? (Recall Carly mentioned only a penis could bring her to climax?)

You previously assumed this game world lacked male prostitutes altogether. So it stands to reason that some men simply cannot bring women to climax, doesn't it?
If i remember correctly Maria already had issues with her EX and decided to get back at him with a BJ/Facial pic and then decided to quit seeing him. Secondly as far as Kali, at the first sexual interaction with her she in no way acted like a lol Virgin but more of wanted to be Dominated and was very quick submit, not to mention was into it heavily, not to mention the rubbing one off on a guys front porch for extra money (solicited) and excited she made some extra money. Lucia is more of a tease and ends up being put in her place (said: Kali). Ashley is more of a obsessive Nymphomaniac, shes kinda basic. Autumn basically a frigid church girl with (her own issues). and yes there was one Male elf dressed up as a girl on the beach with two girls.

It's hard to tell what line of code that's doing that from the .rpyc. Put this file into the same directory as the script.rpyc that's causing the error and try to reproduce the game error (or, conversely, extract the same script.rpy from scripts.rpa if you know how).

If the error happens again, it should give a traceback with something useful like which line of code and what that line of code is for someone to troubleshoot with.
I tried, it did not give too much information, exception occurs sporadically in random menu() or say statement like l "Well, it's not too bad in here, but I'll make sure it's completely spotless for you, [linoname]!" where l is just a character definition.

If you try to rollback and open same menu/dialogue again, it usually works fine, until you face same error again in a few seconds in the next lines. traceback is always similar and looks like in my first message, only row number in script.rpyc changes to indicate related menu/say code line.

For me it doooes not look like the problem in the game files, rather renpy files, dunno... I tried to download from another source but with the same result.

I was hoping to see the traceback to tell me what lines in the .rpy it's tracing through to get to the error. That gives me more info than just about anything you can provide, quite frankly. That will tell me what might or might not assigned a bool to something that should not be a bool.

A word of advice. When the tech support asks you for a specific piece of information, even if you think it's not helpful, provide it anyways. Just because you don't know why they asked for it, doesn't mean it's not useful. After all, if you know better than the tech support, than why do you need the tech support?

Okay, I'm sorry, there was an encoding issue in trace log so I checked the lines myself instead of providing you. So far I can't reproduce it anymore, after launching the game and loading save file I've made an hour ago. Will get back in case if the issue reappears

I made a fresh installation of the game (deleted all files in appdata folder and downloaded full version). But after starting a new game, I struggle with unhandled exception every few frames. Any idea how to fix that?

Code:
I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

While running game code:
TypeError: 'bool' object is not callable

Do you happen to have an Intel 13th or 14th gen CPU?

I do actually, i9-14900K

There's a possibility these nonsensical errors are caused by CPU stability issues, rather than being software-related. If you don't wanna jump straight to a BIOS update, I've seen a couple of posts from people who managed to avoid the errors by playing around with RenPy's renderer settings (Shift + G). Try changing renders, framerate, enabling/disabling powersave, see if anything sticks.

Wow, yes, it seems like my case, thank you, it's finally time to reload PC and update firmware which I delayed for months

If you ever have random crashing you can underclock your GPU. I have the same and for no reason my renpy games were closed. I finally found an answer by using Intel Extreme Tuning and changing the 57 to a 54. Never had random crashing again.

Hi all, my compressed unofficial Android port of Harem Hotel v0.19.1 with Maid Lain walkthrough, cheats, additional events and gallery mod updated by JGNeon

Usual gestures, save name/delete, seethru textbox, resizeable game and dialogue text.
Scrollable textbox - no more text off the bottom of your screen
Note: Quick Menu is not always active, swipe up on the screen to access the game menu if you need to.

Special Instructions:

Install apk.
Alternative persistent saves/log location
Grant storage permissions on first run!
On first run you will get a prompt to copy the archive.rpa file to "documents/Wills747/harem.hotel/game" folder.
(game will quit now)
Copy the rpa file to the directory indicated in game.
Restart the game.
Keep in mind if your default install location is an actual SD card and slow speed this may slow the launch.

Keep archive.rpa if you can, I'll use it for future updates to keep the apk size small.

0.16.0 rpa file: (6Gb)
Mega
0.16.0 rpa file split zip: (3+3 Gb, need both and extract)
1) Mega
2) Mega

0.19.1 apk updates:
Lain's Mod :
Mega

A question. The first page says it's also in Spanish. But at the time, I noticed that as I progressed, there were fewer and fewer translations.

I'm asking, up to what version is it translated?

Is it better to install the translation separately? I've seen it's up to 0.18.

Honestly, I would advise against playing any translated versions of games that are still being updated. Chances are the translations simply will not be up to date with the game itself. It sucks, I'm sure, but that's just how it is. :(
