Version 0.30 has a complete code rework, it's a mandatory reset. version 0.35 (Complete chapter 4) will come out sometime this month. Very worth it to play again.

version 0.30 was a rewrite so yeah all saves from before are broken and the games been quite broken since they added the first half of chapter 4, i recommend either waiting for all of chapter 4 to come out and check the thread to see if the bugs are fixed or try find version 0.32.0.7, thats the version i've been using from before chapter 4 and i got through it without any crashes or bugs

Thanks. The thing is, I actually deleted the whole game before downloading it again and have no idea why I still have old save files on my PC. I also started a new game and can't save/load new save files. Also can't delete old files (from within the game).

I actually also had save/load errors last year, which was the reason why I stopped playing back then.

Save files for games are usually saved in the documents folder, separate from the actual installation file itself.

Yeah, did some digging and found out it's one of THOSE kind of games...

So I deleted everything there, downloaded the game again and everything worked...for about twenty minutes. Now I have the same issue again. Game crashes as soon as I click either save or load. Sucks

Use autosaves as much as you can. Rename them and something like that. I have the same problem with saves, so I learned to do that to prevent it.

Honestly, I feel sad for this game. The older intro was much better. Slower, but made sense with the Pokémon setting. Grind is unavoinable (and I don't mind it), but now we still have the same old bugs with a "new" rushed Prologue and some features less. Maybe dev decided to show the gold early in attempt to attract more players.

Cube World feelings for this one.

I have one more question, but more global imo: why is game is called "Haremon" but you can achieve harem only through debug code? Game is beautiful, though.

Maybe I can answer that, since Jet is my favorite Haremon. Have you ever asked her about her fetishes, position etc.? Her fetish is basically choking. She enjoys it. And it seems that it's ichoking someone AND being choked. As for the title of the game - probaly harem will be in future implements or something like that.

I'm confused every time someone brings this up. This game does harem better than most games/media. The lover status is for the girl you have closest to you. The girls all know you fuck them. But one girl is your lover. In real harems theres is a head of the harem despite the number of wives. Every harem is polygamist but not every polygamy is a harem. Harems can have multiple wives and some concubines like the sultans had. Or there can be one wife and many concubines like the emperor of japan had(Similar to haremon.) Two harems but different numbers of wives. Most harem anime never have the guy decide who hes going to marry for this reason. Letting people belive their "Best Girl" was the head.

According to the code there will never be a feature to have multiple 'lovers'. They would have to rewrite key functions of the code and I cant imagine them doing that with the game a third the way done. Even if you play on "Harem mode" Its buggy to all fuck because the code isn't built to play like that.

Diction arguments aside from a gameplay and character perspective it's just kind of annoying. The game doesn't really have enough replayability or content to justify playing the game multiple times to see the lover scenes(given there's only one of them and people already have problems with the gameplay) From a character perspective no one wants to make waifus sad from having to dump them just because you want to see an extra scene from one of the characters.
To address the diction argument: you're correct that harems have multiple interpretations from harem anime to multiple concubines with one(main) wife, but the game is presented like a porn game and people are going to assume it's going to work like the standard porn game harem. Sure it has anime elements, but the harem clearly doesn't work like the standard harem anime given we're allowed to fuck them, and even then actual polygamy has become more common. I'm also not sure how much I buy the argument that the devs just outright can't impliment it as a feature, having screwed around with cheat engine not even using the in-game cheat I've been able to use harem mode with no more issues than anyone else would have normally

Saying the same thing isn't a response, but there was something new and I want to focus on that. The Harem Route, where you get most or all of the girls in a fully equal relationship does not exist and if it does its rare. Even if it did its usually some vague ending.

This guy wants a full game where you can fully max romances. The lover status is a little gift for those who put one girl above the others. Take vex for example. Your devotion to her is what allows her to feel vulnerable enough to open up to you. Its absolutely integral to her as a character. Narratively Being able to get that while claiming that level of devotion for the others ruins her arc. They will not ruin the characters stories for the sake of an official option. They may keep the option for harem mode in the debug version but it wont be a real feature. Fucking quote me on it. And shove it in my face if you want. But considering what TsunAmi have said about their care for the narrative and having the characters feel like real people. Vex is already ok with you fucking around and even after lover status she doesn't care if you fuck the other girls but she is obviously very possessive. It would ruin her arc if she was just OK with it.

Separately from the nerrative resons for it not being a good thing. To address the Code issue. You just don't understand how code is developed. This isnt a game with a framework like rpg maker. The game is ground up. If they were gonna add it in it would be in the 30% complete or bellow. If you genuinely thing rebuilding the code from 50% or more to add a feature your insane. As for you having no issues with Harem mode. Congrats I havent had that experience at all, showing it not as simple as you portray. Because if you knew, The way harem mode works is it makes a check for your status to prevent multiple lover status'. Harem mode removes that check. And how I feel like your bull shitting a bit is the fact that that removal or the check can and does effect quests/dates. I just did a fresh start with harem mode set up since last night and I've already run through the false completion that happens on lovers dates.
