Ok... there is enough content out to get a general feel for the game. And the breakdowns of the various elements of the game are definable. Sure, there are plenty of details I'm missing but this is how I see things shaping up:
*The overall plot = GOOD
*Story script = Good
*Art = Good
*Character development = complicated
*Game mechanics = Fair
So, the game overall is worth playing.
The only problem with the game is Rahael. Kevin, your average game character where he can tag any female that moves (a dog will do what a dog does). Kevin's only problem with his character is how women fall for him which makes the other female NPCs appear too shallow.
I can understand the developer's thoughts that its more complicated for Rahael. And yes, that makes perfect sense. However, its Rahael's trajectory of whatever path a player chooses for her. One problem is her relations with Frank if a player takes Rahael down that path... she is developing emotional connections with Frank. And if she were to leave Kevin, she would hook up with Frank and most likely would be faithful toward him--the problem there are the rest of the male NPCs and Rahael's relationship with them.
If I was to throw a rock at the story and Rahael, it's that the developer is making her a BJ Queen (like every other game out there). Now I'm not shouting out like so many who post this is
BLUE BALLING. Just saying what it is... a plot fail is giving Tony a BJ why? Because Rahael really is into giving BJs and not fucking.... no, in Tony's case it the BJ doesn't fit the story yet. One of the finer details I'm missing is why have black men in the game unless you're really going to lean into the whole BBC thing or they are just simple characters who happen to be black. The scene between Tony and Rahael was really good up until the BJ. To get around the whole BJ thing and give Rahael some action while developing her character, just have her making out with whoever, like the last scene with Frank.... touch...teasing...groping... (corruption building) ... give Rahael a reason to want more
