Nah, it's gives starting equipment IF you take no starting equipment. I also think that it gives you extra mercenary options later on. Doesn't really matter that much, but codes are

There's a group of people who play these games myself included that don't really want to deal with combat of sorts so I have to ask, is there any sort of cheat or something to skip the combat?

Oh, it's this again! I remember hating the combat system because once you got tired, you needed godly RNG to win fights.

Word to the wise, there's no actual sex scenes in this game, even with the Adult Patch (At least with the 3 girls I've maxed out so far). They say something like "Come hither", then you get a Witcher 1-esque pinup, and that's it.

The pinup art is beautiful, but there should probably be a 'no sexual content' tag so that people don't get the wrong idea.

Also, only 2 or 3 of the 7 girls have endings, the rest are flings. The dev mentioned wanting to give the others endings through future patches.

For a Renpy game, it tries to be pretty obtuse about saving and loading. You can cheese the latter by clicking 'save' in the upper-right corner (I think the dev intended for players to only save at camp), but for the latter you have to go to the main menu and load from there.

No.
And combat is hard even on max profile level, at least in the titular difficulty.
It's also not really porn game, it's a medieval soldier's suffering simulation game with some romance, porn and occultism on a side.

I hope the balance is a little bit more fair. At least enough to fucking beat it on the base difficulty without literally requiring save scumming for rolls. The previous game was absolutely brutal and quite literally impossible to beat without save scumming imo. It was still pretty damn fun though ha. I'll give this a try.

I think the main goal in combat is making the enemy tired while not getting tired yourself, so that they can barely fight back
