Here i was waiting the game to have some content to try and play it since I love xinxia and then i read this .
Seems it isn't yet the moment I can enjoy a "cultivation" game.
Well to the ignore list it goes then, NTR is a deal breaker for me, avoidable or not and seems this one is forced yikes.

I really like Isekai too but honestly I'm getting bored of animes, it's rare the one we're your mc kill any enemy for example that's why they keep coming again and again, it almost always the same things in anime, protagonist don't kill anyone, protagonist is a simp, pushover etc of course not every anime is like that but when it isn't it's close to it, then i started to watch donghua and I'm liking it much more, it's a complete Diference in protagonist behaviours. I don't read novel so i can't help you but if you watch anime you can watch donghua. You have douluo Dalu aka "soul land", doupo cangqiong aka "battle through heavens" these are 2 of my favorites.

The game doesn't feature NTR. That review is basically just some guy who was angry that I wouldn't take all of the 32 suggestions he made and implement them 2 minutes after he made them.

NTR, by definition is this :
In Japanese, netori 寝取り means "sleeping with someone else's partner," be it their girlfriend, boyfriend, wife, husband, or even someone who's not really their partner, like their childhood friend, or something like that.

Definition # 2:
Cuckold - related,

A man who finds arousement in watching his girlfriend/wife having sex with another man.


The summary of what is being touted as "forced" or mandatory NTR sums up to this. There's a viscous entity that attacks other spirits and consumes them for energy. He normally kills them, but he gives 1 or 2 the option to become his sex toys (or death).

In order to avoid death, Syphii agrees to sleep with him occasionally and in turn he will allow her to stay in his territory undisturbed.

Syphii is not in a relationship with the main character, nor are they bonded. You just happen to walk up on her getting railed at one point.



Lastly, this same person made a huge stink about developing their character, claiming that the points were "wasted".

As I explained to them then, it matters very little how you invest your talent points during the prologue. (But...apparently this was just seen as an excuse, and not an actual answer to the question). I recommend you focus on Str+Spd or Agl+Focus builds if it matters to you. Weapon play has not been implemented, and therefore would be less useful. Regardless of what you invest your points in, you grow stronger simply through the act of moving to another rank as well. By the time you reach Azure rank, it's much easier to kill any of the creatures you come across.

(Especially since I retooled combat to support rank differences between yourself and your opponents.)


Since mid-may the game now has in-game information about many aspects of gameplay, and the info they requested has always been present on the Patreon page by way of a manual (even before their original complaints). So in reality most of the negative comments you see here and there are actually from people who felt I should just adhere to everything they suggested and disregard my own plans for my own project. When I politely declined - well you can see the results here.

As a result of all their vitriol, I decided on not using this community too much anymore. There's tons of ways to get my project out there, at the end of the day why stick around to be abused by irrational people who refuse to listen to common sense? Even when i spent hours explaining what I said to you here, to them. I flatly and resolutely decline to deal with that sort of behavior, if I'm honest.

Anyway -

Last thing I will address is that the out of order events come from spending too much time training and not advancing. (Or atleast they did.)

In the past, If you haven't ranked up prior to early February, (around the time you're supposed to meet Yenay) then you *did* run the risk of screwing your game up. Old saves where this occurred cannot be fixed.

I have patched the issue as far back as May of this year. In summary, don't get too hung up on building your character early (you have room to experiment and it's not like you lose anything) - there are actually many more aspects of character development that have yet to be introduced. And that's all coming during Academy days.

Syphii is a character you can meet by advancing the story a bit. At some point she comes to the hut and begins to stay with you occasionally.

It occurs around the time that Guobei decides to help you with "special training".

Also in regards to a few other comments. I've had a pretty clear idea of where the project is going since I started with it so- right now, I have no intention of quitting - unless, I die or something which I admit could always happen. I have a pretty clear idea of the project's overall story - the main antagonists and so on.

Now that my financial situation is changing, I can do more. Addressing more of the concerns in this threat, the reason my game has so few followers is that its purposeful --I haven't been attempting to grow it for the better part of 5-6 months now. The reason for that was simple, I have always had a specific way I wanted to build this project, which involves building the foundation first, making it stable then worrying about growth. Now that the project is in a better place, I plan on growing it as I always intended, it just took a bit longer than I would have liked.

For a bit of perspective, I built a unique game engine for this , from scratch while simultaneously learning Python, Ren'py script and the ins and out of using Ren'py to build games. Beneath the hood, it's a lot more than pretty pictures and I've easily hand written over 30,000 lines of code specifically for this project in the past 1.5 years. This isn't really said to brag, it's said to address many of the err.. notions that many people here have expressed., many of which are just rooted in ignorance.

Some things I've already worked out and started implementing are :

Building a foundation for your character / soul sea. Ideally, I want the soul sea to also be a place you can explore or interact with rather than an open void. But we will see how this goes. Otherwise, building a foundation is actually a sort of process where you consume items and then cultivate. Those items will then impart certain affects to your growth or character permanently once consumed.

Spirit Weapons and Gear, Hidden Weapons, Flying Swords (combat features). I will probably revamp the battle system as well.

Needless to say, there's many more places and events to cover. It will actually take a while do it all, but if things continue to improve I should be able to better convey that roadmap / scope with something other than words.

For now (could change) :

• Prologue - You're a nobody!
• Recruit aka Academy Days - You enter the Academy and begin to learn about survival and cultivation.
• Outer Disciples - One step above being common, your situation is getting better. You're now allowed to visit dangerous zones, find powerful artifacts and more.
• Inner Disciples - You move further up the mountain, experience more challenges and events.
• True Disciples - At this stage you are trained directly by some of the more powerful teachers /elders and you have much more time to explore and acquire strength.
• Aside from this, each time you get one step closer to True Disciple, you also gain more areas to explore, meet new people and so on.

I think we sorted this just a minute ago in discord.

Piggy backing off your problem, - mods from this community may be responsible for corrupt saves. As I've said a few times, I wrote an entire engine around my project, so simply doing some regex code magic will screw up games and cause many events to either not trigger or simply trigger out of order.

(And ironically enough it seems like people are blaming me for this stuff......but I digress...)

The "name" mod and the "inventory" mod( not sure which) in particular have caused problems for people in the past to my knowledge.


Aside from that, I implemented the ability to rename all the characters in 2.0, so the name change mod isn't really needed at this point.

I'm not 100% sure what the inventory mod does, but I have had people completely wreck their games while using it before. I recently implemented a better way to manage your inventory en masse, and in the future I plan to overhaul inventory altogether to support item stacks.

TL DR; The Name Change Mod is no longer needed and inventory may bug your game (and, I won't be able to help sort it).
Just something to be aware of for those who are installing mods.

The MC is truly a painful thing to behold. Makes me want to stab him with a certain farmer's tool that has pointy ends. I have barely gone through the introduction and am already frustrated. Why is he there? No, I get that he was brought there, but why has he agreed to it? At the very least I presume that he agreed, from the first conversation with the "principal". But it definitely wasn't because he got a pamphlete for the school, that's for sure. He's clueless what kinda place he landed in, what the rules are, what kind of expectations the "student body" has to uphold.

Why in the name of all that is unholy did he not turn around, leave the school and go home when a fight was imminent!? He's a farmer's boy and appearantly the only thing he ever beats up is the field that his family owns...

Long story short: Why the f*ck is he there and why the hell is he not going home!?

After reading around a bit I find out that there is even NTR in the game. And saying "it ain't NTR, it's rape cuz you did not have a relationship with her at that point in time!" isn't cutting it. Granted I haven't played that far (And by now have no intention to, either.) but from what I read in this thread I can only think of that excuse as semantics. Semantics because, from what others here wrote, the MC gets in a relationship with her shortly thereafter and still the rape continues, at which point it becomes NTR.

Honestly, if a player has to grind to get powerful, atleast give 'em the choice to use that f*cking power in key moments! Some players would do it because they hate rapists, or because they are goody-goodies, or maybe even because they'd like to rape the girl themselves instead of simply watching like idiots.

Seems the game as some nice features and you put work on building the game technical part.
Unfortunately that kind of content with a LI is something I despise and can't outlook it, it's already bad enough when mc isn't in a relationship but if continues after they start a relationship is even worse.
One dick good, two dick too much.

For those of us who don't like love interests having sex with other people, it's time to move on to another game. The dev has read the negative feedback and doesn't seem interested in changing the coerced sex with a li and I wouldn't be surprised if he added more.

Exactly what I was thinking. Which is a shame for me. I had put this game on hiatus because even with all the problems the genre has, I love it. I was hoping for more content for this game and for it to be fixed so I didn't see an event in the wrong way like I did when I played it for the first time.But I found all these comments when trying to play again haha.

Something that surprises me, however, is where the dev got his inspiration from. In this kind of novel, even if there is netorare, it ends very, very badly for the other party. Even if the mc ends up heartbroken, the other party ends up with everything around them broken lol. So it wouldn't bother me to see that kind of plot, but seeing the name of the dev... I seriously doubt it. When I think of this kind of genre, I can only think of determined and ruthless protagonists. Even the 'good' protagonists are ruthless people if required (bai xiaochun from 'a will eternal' is a good example). Thing that this protagonist does not seem too much. And as much as I love the genre, I know it's intrinsically related to a power fantasy. And in a porn game that should be even worse, making the protagonist basically invincible. But the author seems to have just taken a totally different path...I can't figure it out lol. Especially, as I said, what it is based on. Anyway, sorry for my long message and if I am visibly upset. It's hard to find a xianxia game like this. Sorry for my english

Especially if that person then went voluntarily even though she had a chance to escape lol. If someone finds out that the protagonist accepted such a woman in his harem, he will be despised for having a 'green hat' on his head even if it doesn't happen anymore just because the girl is not only not pure, but she did it voluntarily without even resisting LOL. And it's not a theory, if the dev is making a story based on the cultivation world, this is how the characters act in that kind of world 99 percent of the time. Basically, if he marries the love interest or even keeps her in his harem, if other cultivators with power similar to him want to slander him and make his status suffer, this girl is the perfect weak point haha.

I guess the dev didn't think about that since after all it's a porn game, but I still find it funny how he says he has such a well thought out story xD.

Yeah the first time is not even my critic. My problem is after she follows him home. There I got the illusion of choice if I want to make a spirit pact with her where she want to stay as long as possible with me getting energy from but still goes back to the forrest so the entity goes not searching for her.
So after this pact which at least I understand as a bond, and you say there is only that happen when there is no connection like a bond that leaves me only three explenations
First one she is actually not letting her getting fucked there anymore, but only stays therem hoping the entity will not call her, as then she has to fight him and would likely get heavily damaged and likely beat the purpose of making him think everything is alright.
Second one the pact is not actually one of partner in romantic or cameradrie sense but of equal use which then turns her into an equivalent of a Gold digger which is strange as she is labeled as love interest.
Third one you actually ment that only the FIRST meeting is not NTR but actually the subsequent because then she is already a partner either because she want to use the MC for a long time or telling him, that he is unable to do anything so she is instead letting her getting raperailed again so the bastard is occupied otherwise.

All three options sound not really good.

The main character doesn't have a harem, though I could see how you might think that - but then again. Does my input really matter?

If you don't like my work, don't play it. The fact is, that same guy who wrote the review you all keep referencing absolutely loved the game and couldn't stop gushing about it -- until I refused to accept 2 of the nearly 19 suggestions he made towards improving the game. Something I've already explained several times. And also something I refuse to continue acknowledging.

It's really a simple remedy, but if you think complaining is going to make me alter parts of my game, you're mistaken.

Don't play the game, really. I don't mind.

At no time does my game depict anyone being raped or having sex against their will.

It just doesn't exist in the game, and that's my problem with these reviews.
