Meditate, then... do the thing that convert's world qi into converted qi.

I don't know. I haven't done it. I'm... not even sure if that fight's even in this update.
Be really nice if the changelog stated you have to start all over. Stupid game kept ending where 0.61 ended. Load save.. end of game.. so have to start all over.. this also means I have to re-download because when it changes that much that you have to start over you have to delete all old files too.
BTW I really hate the combat.. have to time clicking the button to change to anything in that exact 4 seconds for it to register. Also the poses all look too much damn similar I can never remember WTF they are! Seriously just put a damn symbols instead of damn stupid poses.. Fist for aggressive, Shield for Defensive, make it fucking easier.. The pose icons all look stupid and do not make damn sense they all look like the same damn thing nearly.

You are not supposed to be constantly changing stances.
The big button changes your combat style: Weapon, Magic, Unarmed. You should use the one which you have been leveling up the stats for. Set it once and never change it again. Currently weapon is not implemented so it only has magic and unarmed.
The little buttons change your stance (defensive, aggressive, balanced, block-retaliate).
Honestly just leave it on balanced stance. Maybe in the future there would be enemies that would need some other stance to beat.
You are not supposed to change your stance and style every 5 seconds. rather than is the cooldown until you can change it next time. You are supposed to find a style/stance that is good against the current opponent. and then leave it on it until the battle is over (it is fully automatic). It remembers stance and style between combats too.
IIRC combat can be skipped via fast forwarding it with ctrl button.

Second slow down the fucking flowers! They disappear in a fucking second unless I keep rapid clicking and move mouse over it can never get it.. and even with the rapid clicking I still don't get it half the time.

I've notice that stances weaken over time so you have to refresh it every now and then even if your just using the same stance

possible, I didn't notice it.
just cultivate until you can overpower them despite it.
body cultivation is a must, it has amazing gains.
make sure you always get 3 stat points per talent point
and favor your chosen style's controlling stats

Training does not give you stat points, it temporarily raises your bonus multiplier. (bathing once a day is best way to raise it actually. better than training)
You get talent points from leveling up and a limited amount from training.
Then meditate and spend the talent points you have (a limited resource. think of them as levelup points. their sole use is to be converted into stat points) to get stat points. Default conversion ratio is 1 talent point to 1 stat point.
If you first train the stat to have 200% bonus multi (the cap) then it will convert 1 talent point into 3 stat points.
Also if it says you reached bottleneck you probably need to perform a breakthrough which is a huge boost.
When you meditate there is an option that takes 1 full day and says converts Qi and also breakthrough. You need to do it twice, the first time you do it will convert your Qi. Then if you try a second time without enough Qi to convert (min 100) but enough converted Qi to breakthrough then you will perform a breakthrough instead of conversion. (this really should be two separate buttons)
The breakthrough will waste all your converted Qi (instead of only the amount required) and give you a massive stat boost. And also plot changes related to your powerup
I tried to meditate and it fucking tells me you decided not to do this at this time.. so I have only been able to breakthrough once.. so all damn training is giving me nothing! The game refuses to give me anything and I am still damn too weak to fight a damn boar.. one fight nearly and I have to rest again. This is fucking bugged.

Have you been spending your talent points?
Training is required to not fuck up your build when converting talent points into stat points.
When you meditate you can switch to another screen where you can make the conversion.
Here is the manual page which explains how to spend talent points

Talents are a limited resource, you should only spend them when it says (200%) next to the stat you want to raise.
if it does not say 200% then you need to train to raise it. the figure drops over time. so you should only spend 1 talent point at a time, after each talent spent you should train again to raise it back to 200%

page on Itch.io it says he removed it because it contained many game breaking bugs. With the new Patching Cyclus he says the comming 2.0 should come in a few weeks and by the plan the next patreonpatch should come Oneandahalf Months later and with it 1.5 should get puplic and 2.0 itch.io.wBecause of this for once I will share a paid version. Since dev mentioned that there will be no story progress update for non patrons after Feb, does this mean updates for public are just bug fixes and improvements?
No what he ment is that he reschedule the Patch System. So next month in June the public version of 1.0 will be available again.
If you want to get the whole game for free without cheats you need to wait until the patch after 2.0 that is planed for another 1,5 months later because then 2.0 will become the next Itch.io pay patch while 1.5 rotates into the public patch.
What is not comming for public is those cheats that effective eliminate every grind and make it like the Protagonist automatically learns on the first try.

So, is this any less of a hot mess? I love xinxia, 2 of the 4 games installed on my pc (originals not pirated) are xinxia, but this one was messy last time I played, like stuff being shown out of order and such, did it get good?
