Yeah I mean I did find it a bit shitty and somewhat disrespectful to run off but I understood why I don't hate it for it. I think it's a fair reaction especially given her trauma. It would only be a faux pas if she were to proceed to ignore the MC forever basically, but she got herself together and decided to meet with him asap. Nothing wrong with wanting some space after hitting an emotional bottleneck.

I don't think that's likely to be the takeaway lesson from any aspect of MC's involvement with the people of Heaven's Door. The very original synopsis of Heaven's Door was this:

A man of means and intelligence wanders into the lives of the strippers of Heaven's Door, a small club in the bayou country of Louisiana. With little left to lose, he finds that, by changing their lives, he has a great deal to gain.

I think it's highly unlikely he's gonna drop a few Benjamins on the girls and then croak.

Based on what we know so far though, the MC has maybe less than two years to live right?
He will also deteriorate more and more over that time, because of the tumor. So unless there's something we don't know yet or some miracle cure. Some AVN logic shit like one of their pussies cures cancer.
Honestly I'm not sure if the MC should get serious with anyone. Just have fun with the little time he has left. But whoever sticks around should know exactly what they are getting themselves into.

Like I said I get why she did it. It's just to much for me to run off after sharing something so personal just feels a bit to much for my liking personally. Yeah I get she has trauma and all but to do it right after sharing something so personal would honestly make me feel a bit hurt a disrespected. Which is why she is out of the harem most likely , I don't hold it against her cause I do get it . It just means I don't want anything to do with her romantically. Especially if she can't at least try to say something or just simply say this is to much I need to be alone. Yeah, I proposed the same theory a while ago, I haven't seen anything to say it can't be possible yet.

What a bit of darker idea. What if he does have cancer but he switched to show he couldn't have it removed while in reality he could have the surgery. Then if this game does have a ending where you die or don't could be you find out about this or don't. Now im not sure if this would make any sense since I think it's normal to get a 2nd opinion and check ups and those would show differently.

I had to have a brain scan a few years back due to persistent migraines, got the result back and thankfully it was clear. It was due to stress at the time, they just wanted to rule anything more sinister out.
People can go for brain scans for all sorts of things and much of the time it's not a tumor.

Even if he doesn't have a tumor, MC believes he does which would put him at 'Heaven's Door', so it would still work.
