Oh, I have a Sylvanie save now too and will likely follow some other branches as they come up. But I do still generally have a save branch that is my "canon" path, and on that one I'm aiming for poly/harem.
I'd say that canon is harem in this game. Catch 'em all.

I've gone a partial harem as well. and doing some mix and matches. I'm curious to see how it goes if you don't take Patricia, but take Nikki (her bestie) and Sylvanie (her nemesis) for example.

The main reason why I think it's no longer a good idea for Patricia to be romantically involved with the MC is her reaction to the news of his tumor and the fact that she is obviously still struggling with the death of her husband.
All that her being with the MC can do is hurt her more surely? It's a shame as she was one of my favourites in the first episode. I guess that alot hangs on the next episode as far as convincing me that being with her romantically is still a good idea.
Nikki is still my number one and I can't see that changing any time soon, Aurora is also up there as is Coral and a few others.

Yeah Patricia reaction kind of got her thrown out of my harem on my main save. will still include her on 1 other save. I doubt she can change my mind but im curious of the talk she is going to have with the MC in the next update

I don't think that's likely to be the takeaway lesson from any aspect of MC's involvement with the people of Heaven's Door. The very original synopsis of Heaven's Door was this:
A man of means and intelligence wanders into the lives of the strippers of Heaven's Door, a small club in the bayou country of Louisiana. With little left to lose, he finds that, by changing their lives, he has a great deal to gain.
I think it's highly unlikely he's gonna drop a few Benjamins on the girls and then croak.

I'm not mad at her or anything like that, sorta the opposite, I understand her reaction. For the first time she feels something for a dude after her husband, and turns out he is dying. Just shit circumstances, but wouldn't hold it against her. Also wouldn't pursue anyone seriously in a romantic way in his place, and if that's what she wants, I'd rather say no. It's not fair to her or anyone else really. Having fun is fine, but more than that I'd feel like an asshole.

Yeah I mean I did find it a bit shitty and somewhat disrespectful to run off but I understood why I don't hate it for it. I would much rather she just get overly emotional Infront of the MC and not run off. I don't dislike her or anything tho it just kind of means I have no interest in her beyond a friendship.

Given that Chapter 2 ends with Patricia waiting for MC in the lobby of his hotel, it's fair to assume a conversation about her reaction is going to happen sooner than later.

Nicki is main girl to me how the hell did Patricia get so deep with the MC. I really hope I can keep Patricia in the friend zone.
I think it's a fair reaction especially given her trauma. It would only be a faux pas if she were to proceed to ignore the MC forever basically, but she got herself together and decided to meet with him asap. Nothing wrong with wanting some space after hitting an emotional bottleneck.
