ELI5: There are no LIs that are exclusively solo. All of them can be in the harem, but none are forced. You can choose on an individual basis which to pursue romantically, even picking just one or none. If you don't pursue one romantic, they'll still be a part of the story as friends or something.

There's also only three endings planned, so any "solo" endings would be minor variations rather than fully unique (like they were in BW).

I also wanna play this 'I think this is what slockie meant' game.

I think it just means that the solo paths in this game are more BaDIK-style (other LIs still involved in the story, just not sexually involved) instead of the Bare Witness-style which has individual solo routes that are independent of each other.

This is kinda confusing so here are badly drawn graphs (I THINK this is the case, I'm not sure. The whole 3 endings only has also confused me)

I'm normally a solo path guy. Harems don't make much sense to me, in most scenarios but in this case the MC doesn't know he's in a story and will probably be fine. As far as he knows, he's got two years to live and will probably spend part of that time in hospice care unable to get out of bed or feed himself. That's why he went to a erm ... gentlemen's club instead of a dating site. He's not looking for a special someone to spend the rest of his life with (he had that and it didn't go well). He's just looking to have some fun on his way out the door, so at least until something changes with his health, a harem makes total sense.

I'm not speculating, but essentially paraphrasing exactly what the devs have said here and in Discord.

Heaven's Door is a full harem game which makes it very different from BaDIK-style, but it's an "optional" one in that you choose which LIs are part of the harem (even a "harem of one" for a solo path if you want). There may be some exclusive scenes that you have to choose between (such as the dates in Chapter 2), but there will not be exclusive LIs. If you want, you can have a path that includes every single LI, but probably not every scene in a single playthrough.

It will play a bit differently than many "full harem" games though, as Storm has explained here and on Discord.

There may be more to keeping a frenzone run as time goes on, but that's the current config. The rest of them should be easier by just refusing their advances. Only the initial Nikki/Patricia setup is tricky.
