I believe it's more like they are dating, but Thora is afraid that Kalli isn't fully committed (and MC noticing there might be some projection there and wisely not commenting on it).It seems more like what Thora would want... but I'm willing to console her.

I know it sounds heartless but i feel starting the update with a sob story about patricia's former love and life is kinda the worst way lol
Maybe its my fault and i should have replayed the first two chapters before starting the update to get into the right mindset for the story. But just starting and being hit with this sob story just makes me go "yeah yeah whatever lets go to the fun parts" instead of feeling empathy, entirely missing a connection to her for this to invoke any emotions this early in the story
But maybe thats just me
