Eleven major/main love interests is frankly a ridiculous number and I'm somehow surprised that after the colossal order that was tying up the endings for Bare Witness, they decided to almost double the number of LIs. There are countless examples where the dining table is simply too long and before you get your potion of mashed potatoes from the other end, they are already cold or eaten. An overwhelming majority of harem-tagged games here (sorted by weighted rating) limit the roster to 5-6 main LIs and some loose change. I'm worried that this may backfire in a big (bad) way, where neither the fans nor the developers will like what they're doing. Again, I do believe that Storm is a capable writer and storyteller (as seen by their dedication to research for the game's setting) - I'm just skeptical whether this bayou will hold water.
It's because this game is not gonna have endings that depend on the LIs, the endings will be 3 no matter how many LIs you're actually in a relationship with. This game will also be much bigger with iirc 16 chapters planned, while Bare witness had like what? 5 updates? The pacing makes sense, I'm only concerned about some of the side characters and how they will fit with the rest of the Main LIs, but other than that it's progressing smoothly imo.
Exactly as MorallyLucky said. Part of the reason HD is an optional harem game is specifically because of how huge an endeavor it was to wrap up their prior game. So instead of 11 unique endings they have 3 endings planned with smaller variations based on decisions through the AVN.

which also means less saves to make :BootyTime: Though we had plenty of time for that in BW haha

I just will say that character development that requires me (the reader) to understand all the motivations of said character by the end of chapter 3 makes me think the author is rushing.

And no, I'm not paying attention to this conversation anymore ... it was old a few days ago (at least it feels like days).

If you're not enjoying the story, you have options.

i'm guessing we have some karma system in this game, like if we did some good samaritan instead a douche we'll live at the end. Because the choiches is kinda black and white now : rude/polite beat/mercy help/dont

and the mc lives at the end if he's good because?..... the good guy always wins?....

if that would be the only path to it,then the ending for the vn will be worse then ending for game of thrones.

that is'nt strange concept you know, and this vn writing is still good enough if it's that simple.

You're really underestimating how bad GOT ending was if you think anything will get that bad.
I still can't bring myself to rewatch the series just because of how badly it ended. Well the last 2 seasons actually, but that finale was something else, and not in a good way.

the fact that it isn't a strange concept is what i mean, its cliche.
if they only path to the mc living at the end is being a good boy,i'd be boring and actually bad writing IMO.
hence i brought up GoT,it was good when they adapted the books until the writers caught up and made there own ending.

even if he's gonna die, these obviously good or bad choices is still gonna reward the good choices. is that a bad writing too?

eehh good or bad writing is subjective.
merely pointed that if choosing the "good" choices was the only path to being alive at the end that it would really cliche and bad writing IMO.
we're probably aren't close yet to the end,so no need to pickup a sword to defend the writing on something this isn't written out yet.
i mean they probably already have idea on how they want to end the story, but i doubt its all written out yet.

thus far i think the writing is pretty good,i did find it odd how easily mika accepted the mc knowing her real name with what happend to the other dude, which due to writing is easily explained away due to nikki & patricia having already done so and them her best friends, probably didn't want to be left out or something along those lines.

After a quick search I was people discussing it so I won't ask if someone noticed but I had testicular, young, not thinking about kids, only health coverage was God, rough hospital and they tell you:
1: treatment can make you sterile
2: you're young now, it's something to think about, to talk with your family but there is this thing called CRYOPRESERVATION etc etc, IDK if it's a legislation thing in the USA but even then people always find loopholes for medical stuff traveling IDK

Wasn't that the "good" choice?

Never mind the fact that the specific cancer that MC was diagnosed with has less than a 1% ten-year survival rate even with treatment and currently there is no cure. And a doctor specialized in the brain would know this.
Hey, I was a surgical nurse in the operating room for 15 years before I hired by an orthopedic company that I worked for 19 years, yeah I'm fu*king old lol, anyway I'm curious to see how the dev prolongs the MC's life to be able to end up in a intimate relationship before dying? Glioblastoma is the most aggressive forms of brain cancer that you can be afflicted with, even with chemo and radition the patient will be lucky to get 2 years of extra life!!! If you google you can see the survival time and rate, the reason that I'm bringing this up is not to be an asshole( the game is phenominal) and I realize that this is " only " a video game but facts are facts, without treament the MC should've been dead by now, if it's causing the MC headaches then the tumor might be large, I know that I'm ranting but being the the profession for 40 years this story to me is very intriguing, I'm really excited to see how the dev brings all this together because like I said facts matter, nice engaging with ya, take care
