It's worth noting there are long-term survivors, they are just incredibly rare. And there's a few trial programs currently happening that have some promising initial results.

But yeah, definitely going to be the power of love if he makes it. :KEK:

I mean sure, it's a game after all. irl you should be so lucky. Can't say for sure, but I expect one of the endings will be MC signing off.

~3 months is "a long time ago"? Because that's the time frame; we're told that in-game. He gets the dx, comes home to find his fiance fucking his "friend," and leaves. Twelve weeks before the game starts, as we're told.

I hope you never receive a terminal diagnosis, but if and when you do, I don't expect your mood, attitude, and behavior will be completely back to normal three months later.

Cool breeze? In south LA? I'm sure the dev isn't too concerned about realism, but I'm not sure cool breezes EXIST outside of winter :ROFLMAO: And no non-local is likely to be very tolerant to the summer heat and humidity. We can get 120°+ heat index multiple times a year. I'm pretty sure we have a higher record heat index than death valley just because of 85%+ humidity combined with 100°+ temps.

Here is what I would like from chapter 4.

Spend more time with Nikki and Patricia.

Spend more time with Mika, Coral and Thora.

Sit down and hash it out with Khalli.

Find out why Aurora ran from the date.

Meet kitty.

Find out who invited you to the ball.

Talk to Bridgette and fix Charlie's sign.

Find out what his ex wants.

Find out why Mike keeps spying on you (guessing he is getting annoyed that all the dancers keep hanging out with you).

i have a question, is the Dev from around Houma LA? I figured being they knew so much about Houma either the lived near it or been there.

The writing here really is quite good. Proper pacing and everything, characters that are distinct from each other, even a hint of plot!? Well, color me thrilled.

I am not, and while I've been to New Orleans and the immediate area, I mostly did a lot of reading on Houma and the local culture and history. I'm glad I've been able to lend the impression that I've spent time there, though.

Don't understand the reasoning that treatment will make MC sterile so he is refusing it so he can continue his legacy.
Surely as a doctor he knows he could just masturbate into a jar and have his sperm frozen if he wants kids.
Guess his tumour is affecting both his memory and sanity, should probably not be allowed to make his own decisions or go outside on his own at this point.

Played the update; the story is getting more interesting, plus it spent a lot of time on some of my favorite girls (Nikki, Mika, and Coral), and introduced two new interesting characters (the twins). First teasing scene with Mika, plus first proper scene with Nikki was fantastic.

The only thing that I felt was off was when MC takes Nikki to "meet his parents". Wording it like that was so awkward because he led her on, thinking she was actually meeting them and all of the implications of that, only to traumatize her by revealing that they're dead. :HideThePain: It would've been less awkward to say "There's something I need to show you" or something along those lines instead of giving her the wrong idea. Other than that, it was a great update, and I'm looking forward to more.
