Well considering Chris her sexual predatory nature with women and experiences with hubby it might be wiser if you are not that easy to catch for her if interested for something long-term. The right approach for her might well be to run just hard enough away from her, so that you are sure she can catch you.
Do hope though you can be a bit more aggressive as having to friend zone her.

You forget that girls like Chris might well like the chase as much or more than the catch, so if you present no challenge at all she might well lose interest kinda fast as soon as she caught you. Now I agree she is def not above cheating or turning the odds in her favor when she gets the chance.
