Firm release dates are apparently on their way. That would be a nice change of pace.

Really, the post didn't say much else. Some stuff happened, dev was going to make a longer update, but by now it looks like things are moving forward so she posted a short news post for the start of the month and said she would make ones with more detail soon(tm) with (hopefully) release dates also soon (tm)
TLDR would be nice

Didn't the dev pause Patreon? I don't see what there is to cope about. Game updates when it updates in the meanwhile I just play other games.
saw there's been 2 patreon posts in the last few weeks, any guestimates on there about the release date or still tying up issues?
The latest Patreon post was all about how her rig with the 2080 died and it took her most of September to repair it. That is not her render rig but it contains all writing and front-end work so it's still important. There are two more Patreon posts planned, one is apparently all about how the new laws in the UK are affecting the content that can be in the game, and the third post will be the estimated release dates.

I played that game like......a LOOOONG time ago, 2020 I guess, I really liked it, a lot... but I had complaints at the time. I complained about the lack of lesbian romance scenes (only because it had that gaming option.) and that, despite being a very slow-paced story, I recognized that it had a lot of potential and was well-written. Now, to my surprise, I'm going back almost 5 years later and I see that haven't been many changes from what I saw then to now. In the end, I understand the people who are upset because, even though I considered the story good and all that, it doesn't change the fact that in the end it's a good story that just leaves you intrigued and with blue balls or beans, if that's the case.
For those who are still paying this Patreon during such years, it's called a scam!

Notty paused patreon for like 4 years over all, shes only been charging for the last 2 months.

Short answer: The UK's laws are a mess, and she's concerned that some of the dialogue in Chapters 5 and 6 could constitute a legal liability if someone filed a complaint about it, so her three choices were to self-censor (nope), close up shop (nope), or continue and take some legal precautions (which is what she is doing.)
This is the most entertaining thread on this side. 1300 pages and basically no content to show for it for the last 4 years.
