I'm also grateful to devs who are at the cutting edge for quality renders, like the dev for Come Inside. Their work will help future artists push their own boundaries rather than relying on stale render packs or, god forbid, honey select.

As for entitlement, the dev is entitled to their own time, effort, and compensation. The market is about supply and demand, and there is certainly a market for fantastic renders and engaging stories.

I look forward to the day these kinds of renders translate over to 3DVR in 4K.

Until then, 3DVR porn nowadays have more story and better graphics than many novels, there are short stories and minifilms. I think is hard to compete in that market without sometihng added to make it stand out.

I get the hate train and the attitute of the dev is very offputting. Still I must say this is one of the best starts of a game I have ever seen. I want it to continue. Guess not all artists are likeable.

That overview gave away the whole plot and the plots of several other games and movies that aren't even out yet. Spoiler tag is needed.

As I said in PI thread, he is a great artist (writing, renders, music) but his public relations suck. I hope he does very well, though, as I enjoyed PI a lot.

My problem is that he gave a very bad signal: "If I don't get support, I will stop". So hopefully, he will but it is harder to convince people to help if their decision will only pay off if others do. Bad coordination equilibrium seems the most likely candidate in this "game between players and developer". "I don't believe others will support, so I don't support" which leads to others seeing low support so beliefs that others will not support self fulfilled and then.. nobody supports and we have a cancellation.

Now the big question: do I risk suffering the very likely outcome of getting into a incomplete project or better to avoid it all together?

There isn't much to get into anyway. Just pretty pics. Unlike PI that at least pretended to have an interesting plot (foreshadowing spam that went nowhere), this is the standard incest fare. The same we've all seen a million times, just with better renders. Like another poster said, the only thing that could have made it even more unoriginal would be to somehow cram college in there.

I guess if one goes for a blatant (even self-admitted) cash grab, they might as well go for the most "cash-grabby" of genres.

I don't exactly know what this is about since the overview is empty currently but I'm definitely going to try this. Visually, it looks amazing. I see a Big Ass, Milf and Incest tag. Not to mention, i played and enjoyed the Devs other work.

I really wish they finish the Primal instinct one, the renders are just gorgeous to say the least though, definitely bookmark this one
