Unless things have changed, there were one or two scenes where a series of comments from... I can't remember his name, gave me a horrible feeling of femdom. I played it quite a while ago, and those comments really limited my desire to continue.

but if you embrace your nature instead, and basically agree with her, you become dominant and also have the ability to shut her down and push her out in so many ways.

Why is this so ass backwards? lol. I mean I understand the power dynamic here embracing what you are the first time obviously awakens you a good bit, but that should also give you more submission points because you're taking the path of least resistance, whereas the denial of it, and refusing to cooperate with the queen should take you to the path of most resistance which is a more dominant outcome. Idk, that just kinda ruined a bit of this chapter for me. I want to go the most resistant way possible to eiseth but I get punished for it by being submissive which I absolutely hate in the grand scheme lol. Meanwhile the dominant route not only can use their humanity to be like fuck nah bitch dont bite me, dont take me in the mind palace, and even if you do I can tell you to straight fuck off ontop of it like ???? I did all the same choices for BOTH runs and the one you accept had 3 ways to evade her, the one you refuse had 0 ways.




Even though structured/wholesome, im not submissive if I just pick the top option vs the bottom one at the start of episode 1, thats the ONLY thing that determines it, wildly enough. Whereas Option #2 at the start, puts you on a full sub route with her, and you dont get the options or icon. Just dont understand how its such a massive swing of a choice like that. Hell of a branch. Feel pretty pressured to pick route 1 cause of my view on submissiveness haha. (Also how MC talks during route 1 at the start makes me wanna shrivel up and die of cringe) the over-the-top UK slang is a little charming at times, but its definitely used a bit much, but that being said I dont hate the writing, I do enjoy it to a decent extent, but the whole spectacle when MC comes out of the party is truly painful.

I am pretty sure there are other minor variables that decide btw. I know one is you impressed her variable, and there is another one where you are defiant towards her, and another sub towards her points. Like, I know there are some in the Seraphina choices when you first meet her. Also, I am pretty sure saying no makes you defiant towards her? She can't even make you kneel? And pressing the top symbol is stopping her from controlling you completely, unless I am misunderstanding?

Idk if theres other variables, as said i went through the exact same set of choices in both runs as closely as i could, except on the one where I can deny her biting the finger, and not have the mind-palace scene with the top symbol, was on the run I clicked "Yes" on. The run where I clicked "No", it puts me in a submission loop where I have no denying of her bite, or no symbol to prevent the mind palace. I get forced to kiss her feet instead.

The only thing I can think of possibly to avoid it is if I avoided structured choices the entire route for the most part (which is alot of Ela's best options) and maybe then I would potentially get the not submissive option, since it seems structured is tied to the submissive aspect. Would have to restart entirely to find out, but its still weird that just that one choice gave me that big of a difference in options, including the "humanity" button when I ONLY went on the "Yes" route. Feel like it should have also been present on the "No" route too, but it wasn't.

For only the second update, there's quite a lot of content, and the overall quality of the story, writing, renders, etc. is super solid. Easily a top 20 on this website imo.

Thank FUCK that the whole hooligan way of speaking of MC and Brian from the start of the game slowly decreases because it's cringe to no end. I get wanting to make them sound like street kids who had it rough and what not, but truthfully it's just... bad ? cringe ? unrealistic ? your pick. As I said though, it's diluted down eventually so you can look over it.

This game truly needs a proper walkthrough with paths explained though, some of the choices are a bit counter intuitive, and I just wanna be able to have multiple playthroughs to see all the possible paths and branches, and just be like "okay, this is my power hungry playthrough, here's the option I need to pick". Right now you end up saving and reloading a ton just to see if you're still on the path you wanna explore, and that's just annoying.

I also hope we'll get some lore explanation as to why some of the characters behave the way they do. Because when the dev note litteraly says " But instead of a fuckfest where everyone humps like animals" and your prospective adoptive mother is horny at first sight and touches your dick not 3 minutes of meeting you... Yeah, for a game that strives for a proper story and some semblance of coherence in the world its trying to build, I hope there's some proper explanation for that kinda behavior, otherwise it takes me out of it a lot.

All in all still enjoyable, easily a 4.5/5 review so far from me just from the potential it has alone. Looking forward to next release.

I keep reading posts/ratings and people keep talking about unavoidable femdom and that the point system has no consequences. You need to read things a bit more carefully and if that is not enough, check the walkthrough posted for the first release in the OP. Femdom is totally avoidable and is only present on the submissive path. There are defiant and subversive paths (no femdom there), pretty self explanatory to me, but maybe I just spent more time actually reading the story instead of skipping to get to the sex. For the other scenes you can also take charge or give away the lead, depending on what you like.
Eispeth and the sexual interactions with her are not reliant on your personality (the structured/rebel and wholesome/savage), but on how you interact with her, which leads to her 3 paths mentioned by me before.
The structured/rebel and wholesome/savage personality traits will change how you interact with the story, instead of the sex scenes (think of it like the paragon/renegade from Mass Effect).
At least this is how I've understood the game so far and I gotta say I had the intended results for me, by using this approach.

My MC acted the way I expected him to act for the choices I've made, dunno what more I can say. My main playthrough was centered around being rebel/wholesome and I wasn't disappointed. I've also did a secondary save with structured/savage personality and that one felt very different, but still in the way I would expect it to go given the choices I've made.
I think there are some overlaps and confusing acts, if you don't have a clearly defined path (you have more or less the same points spread around the 4 attributes, which would be the "neutral" path). I thing this is where people get a bit tangled and the dev should address it better in the future.

The slang used in the scenes with Brian, while it is kinda cringe, it is pretty much a real thing. Not all "brits" are posh and cultured and speak perfect English. I've visited Manchester a few times and I've personally witnessed this kind of talk there in some pubs. I would like to see it toned down a bit, since it's not really my preference, but I'm just seeing it as an artistic choice from the author.

I would also like to see less freeroam scenes, not because I dislike them that much, but because they waste a lot of time if you want to replay the game with different choices. Please ditch a few of them, some are unnecessary, or at least don't add so many in the future.

Just finished the new update, and can tell you for sure, no femdom on the deny her path (hope path). You can tell her to fuck off, provided you do the relatively simple act of sticking to your choice throughout the story. ie, keep denying or use the icon thing in the corner (cant remember what the game named it now) when needed.

I didn't want to make a dissertation about it because really everyone has their preferences so I shouldn't give a f about convincing them otherwise (since I'm not involved with this AVN), still

• I like femdom as a kink, probably more than I like maledom, but I'm totally fine also with anything in-between.
• There absolutely are femdom elements in this AVN, IF one decides to lean into them.
• There absolutely also are hints of maledom elements spanking over and over ass and tits of a girl to make her wet, can be an example
• In the last 15-20 (more or less) years the "culture war" has taken an interesting direction and created 2 opposing "armies" of narrow-minded folks.
• This is a fictional work of adult content, is not backed by any corporation, so it tends to display just the beliefs of its author/s, and a bit of "fishing" for more buyers.

If one doesn't like femdom they can avoid it in-game, or avoid it completely by just skipping this AVN, but it's worth pointing out again how... A woman in a position of power is not femdom.

In most cases it just means they were better at whatever they do than the others around them (male or females), and if you are one of those folks "around", what you should be doing is employing some introspection and understand at what you failed, rather than ascribe it to "culture war" or whatever.

In the case of this fictional work, it just means that the strongest vampire (at this stage of the story) is a female vampire, but is not like vampire are real, it's a narrative device.
