So is there separate antagonist for each girl if I’m understanding it right
There is, yes.
I liked HC2 though I didn't like the NTR progression for Celis at all, the whole "I'll teach you horny stuff so you can be with him" trope never worked for me ever, makes the girl seem way too stupid. I liked an aspect of it however, the misunderstanding part.
I like when the girl in NTR witnesses the MC in an intimate moment with another female and misunderstand the situation. Especially if this happens several times and these moments start to pile up inside her head, to the point she starts believing she was a fool and the MC actually loves someone else.
It looks like HC3 will have some type of corruption magic that will probably lower the heroines defenses.
For the villains, other than the Duke we have yet to meet, the most obvious ones would be the inn owner and the mage. 3rd one is more tricky, I think it would be nice if it was someone unexpected like the castle guard that likes the head maid.
I noticed the sister has a bed in her room at the casern that can be seen from outside window, that's hype for someone like me who loves to see stuff happen from outside the window, HC2 was good with that. Speaking of which HC2 had a scene with shadows and silhouettes between the mother and villain and I felt it was criminal the silhouettes were not used again after that.
Both HC2 and HC3 also work on mobile, something I really appreciate, though in HC3 the main map is very big so it lags quite a bit on my device.
HC3 started extremely good, definitely has potential to be even better than HC2.
Dev should definitely consider translating HC2 and HC3 in Japanese when finished and selling it on dlsite imho, cause it could sell very well there.
Yeah, that's why I tried to make Celis' first event more believable by 1)adding a sense of urgency with her seeing Noah being kissed by another girl, 2)her being drunk, thus her being far weaker to Edwyr's words, and easier to convince
There will indeed be magic involved in the corruption process but, so far, it has no impact on their mind or on their libido. If I ever add any artifices to help the corruption progress, I'll try my best to keep their effects to a minimum. I've never been fond of hypnosis/instant super powerful aphrodisiacs that turn a nun into a slut in mere seconds. It feels too easy and a bit cheap. The only reason why I'd add any aphrodisiac-type stuff is that it would fit really well in a certain scene, or to better justify the heroines' fall.
The sister, and every single heroine in the game, has or will have an accessible window that can be seen from outside, through which you can see their bed. The sister actually has two (her room + the casern), and her bedroom is separated from the MC's by a single wall. The wall is an idea I had before I even started designing the town, and that I will make use of.
There is more potential for silhouettes in HC3, since every window at night now has curtains.
The map in HC3 is actually smaller than HC2's. HC2's map was 75 tiles by 75, while HC3's narrower, 55x75. However, HC3's got a ton of stuff on it, + lots of triggers for sounds and making the buildings go transparent when the MC walks behind them, events for the underwated elements, doodads, etc...
I have considered Japanese translation before, as I'm sure there is a certain market for this kind of games. The issue is that they're far too text-heavy. HC2 alone has around 570k words. Remove all the different path and choices with similar dialogues, and I'd say it's more or less 500k words that would need to be translated. It's been a while since I last looked it up, but this would mean 10's of thousands of dollars spent on translation, and it's very unlikely the sales would be enough to break even.
