Yeah, that's the idea. I know there's public versions, which honestly I actually forgot about when first making that post, but there's something to be said for just not releasing free versions anymore in favour of a Steam release and to simply no longer give the free versions of HC1 and 2 away as I highly, highly doubt anyone is getting them from patreon anymore as opposed to this site or the any number of other piracy sites.
I completely forgot Steam charges people for putting games on. It makes sense in theory given how much of a problem shovelware and asset flips are on Steam but Valve already takes a pretty large cut of the money from each game sold on it so I tend to forget about that.
God, poor Leto. Calling him a chick magnet that gets no pussy is such an accurate description. He's got Rose with who he can't actually have a proper physical relationship easily and he's clearly already lost her, Cyanna is into him but he never noticed since he views her as a sister, Lily is introduced after the time skipping commenting on the size of his dick and it's made abundantly clear she's into him, and multiple random women have expressed an interest not knowing he has a girlfriend and he either didn't notice or they gave up when he showed no interest. The dude gets the attention of women on a pretty consistent basis but they all wind up fucking his friends, coworkers, or boss.

I know peoples want to support the dev but this is a piracy forum, put your moral aside and help the community by contributing. If a game is good, a leak won't affect much regarding the revenue. This series is already banking on the top 1% of porn game on patreon, the only thing dev is lacking is a Steam release to maximize the revenue.

You can still making public release and free on Steam by either selling multiple "Supporter Tiers DLC" or selling the Extra version as a full game/DLC

Leaks do affect revenue, sometimes by between 20% to 25% from one non-leaked month to another leaked one, although I cannot prove this is entirely due to piracy. Maybe it's because my game isn't good, if we go by your logic? Besides, I'm from Switzerland. I make below average there. Heck, even my mom makes more than me working as a secretary.
The game is already going to go public anyway, thousands of hours and $ of work entirely for free, so why get so impatient that you need everything right away without waiting? Then once you've played it, what? Welp, you gotta wait even longer for the next version...
I know, I know, this is mainly a piracy website, who cares about the dev? I'm aware my rant is unwarranted here, guess it's just late and I'm being a bit salty, sorry about that...
That's really sad to hear, you're one of the best (and nicest!) devs out there and I really enjoy your work. I'm happily already supporting you on patreon and I would gladly spend money for a "full" release version of your games as well. Please keep up the good work!

It's okay to feel frustrated in this situation. As a solo developer(yeah okay some artists involved too) you're putting a lot of effort in your games so you deserve the appreciation. We shouldn't forget that we pirate games for enjoyment(and to spite some greedy companies :] ) If the game is good then we should be thankful to devs and show appreciation by giving them money they deserve. Happy dev means more content and that means more happy players. Besides you need to pay artists so it's essential not to lose too much(though I dunno how much it costs

Apparently I'm getting notifications from this thread because I replied to N_taii on it, so I'll provide some info to clear up the discourse here. Who am I to make any comments? I'm also a game developer who makes a fair amount of revenue on Patreon and have a good amount of experience publishing games on Steam.
1) Steam charges $100 to put your game up.
This is true. But you get it back if you have $1,000 in revenue. Regardless, a $100 fee is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Steam takes 30% of your post-tax and fess revenue anyway. The $100 is just to stop people vomiting endless shovel-ware they expect to sell sub $1,000 up as a business strategy.
2) Look at all this money people make on Patreon!
Patreon as a platform takes about 11-12% of that money after various fees. And that's only if you have a legacy account, new signups have a worse rate. Besides that, game development is an incredibly time-intensive and expensive business to run. You're basically programming a software project, writing a book, illustrating a comic, and composing an album at the same time. And either you do all those things yourself or you pay other people to do them for you. Either way that's a lot of time/money. Personally I make negative money on games, meaning the expenses of creating them are more than the revenue they bring in. So all the labor I actually do is essentially free.
3) So how much money is N_taii making?
I don't know, more than me since his base Patreon revenue is higher and his expenses are lower (this isn't speculation I talk to N_taii developer to developer fairly often). But almost certainly the time to money ratio is much lower than they could get working a normal job. So if you're "stealing" from them, you're not sticking it to a big rich corporation, but someone doing a passion project.
4) Wait, so these games aren't making the developers millionaires?
No, they're not. Even if you see someone with 1,000s of subscribers, almost all games here are more art pieces than business propositions. Even something wildly successful like Karryn's Prison basically just ends up being a normal software job money worth of take home money after paying all the people needed to create it.

That's a shame to hear, there are at least plans to introduce some CG art into the game?
The appeal of the game is the pixel animations not the CG. If some is introduced it won't be to any large degree.
Well, as a 5$ Grunt, i was a little bit surprised to find the Update 10 here as fast as on patreon. Btw, for me it is easier to download it from here now, because Megaupload is so discusting
I personally think, that your allready have this amount of patreons because of your high quality and your very entertaining job with your proof of life content. That is why i don't think, that this leak will have negativ effects so much.
And after all, i had only found you BECAUSE of this forum. Love your work, keep going like that.

N_taii I got a little feedback.
1. It would be really neat if - down the line - we would be able to switch between the outfits in the menu. Previous "normal" ones and the progressively more erotic ones. Would be a shame for all that material to go to waste. And some of the outfits are varied enough (I love Rose's "adventurer" outfit with the ponytail) to be really different.
2. It am still really looking for more off-hand dialogue. All the little "extra-scenes" that you can stumble upon on any given day are great. But it would be cool if we could meet and talk to the characters even without those, that we encounter them somewhere in the city (not scripted I mean, I mean they just stand around at places they would be (in Cyanna's case for example the garrison, patrolling in the streets or her house) and we could talk to them and they would make some off-hand comments that get progressively more sus as time (and corruption) goes on. Nothing too immense, just something that shows a change of mindset after the last big scene, or after the last mini-scene, and something different every day. It doesn't have to be long too. Just 2-3 lines of dialogue. You can be super creative with that. References to changing preferences or desires, how they see their own outfits, little (to Leo not obvious) hints about requests that were made of them, maybe even life incidents like being forced to wear a toy, having a new collar suddenly ("oh this? this is just...") or walking around commando style trying to hide it. Whatever. Just some neat stuff there. Having some cum in their hair.
Again doesn't have to be super scripted. Can just be a "hey there is this character, let me talk to them" and then you get a few lines of dialogue and an embarrassed (or other) facial expression or a look at their sprite. Nothing fancy.
Other than that good update. I generally don't care much for Lily unfortuantely, and Haylen im 50-50 on, so Im biding my time for that Cyanna/Rose progression. Either way though, solid work as always.
