I think its fine, if a product is liked then players will support it, well the decent ones anyways. Personally I hate waiting weeks for an update to a game since most games here require a restart/bugfix/etc so the sooner the better, ofcourse as a developer I can see how this would be detrimental but for us on F95, getting an update early is great.
I look forward to seeing more of this game. Is there any chance of adding a recollection room/option into the game? There are some scenes I want to see again without waiting through one of the longer strings of cutscenes.

I see your point, and I respectfully disagree. All in all, it is not only about potential Patrons, but also current ones. I try my best to maintain a relathionship of trust and respect with them, and one way to build that is to make sure they get access to the perks they've been promised. Early access to new updates is one of them, so I'll be trying my best to avoid leaks, but of course I'm not almighty so what I can do is very limited^^
Also, your statement "if a product is liked then players will support it, well the decent ones anyways" probably holds true to bigger developers who have a few updates/games under their belt, but it is less likely for upcoming devs. People need to have a deep emotional connection with a product for them to support it financially without the prospect of direct rewards and perks. Such emotional connection is most likely achievable with lots of hours of gameplay (which means well-established games), where people get to immerse themsleves into the game, and also means that they dev is serious about what s/he does. Also, more time to work on something means more exposure, so they're more likely to gather players who are liking their games enough for pledging money to the game.
People like Akabur can have a "tip jar" Patreon with no real perks and still be very successful, but people like me are less likely to follow in their steps as of now^^

I'm happy you like it : ) Recollection room is planned, but only at the end of the game where all the scenes have been properly established and I can think of a fitting way to implement it. In the meantime, I've made sure to include save files before each major scene (if you downloaded the game, you should have the "save files" file with it). Also, you can find a description of what scene goes with what save file for Update 1 on a public Patreon post, post is linked in the first post of this thread under "Save files" : )
On the 2nd of march for public release, I had to postpone it because I had to finish writing my Master thesis.

Lol insane that you're doing stuff on the side. Im coming up to my B.Sc. and idk how much time ill have, holy shit.
It looks worse before you start than once you have, believe me. Besides, I did my thesis on a topic I had been looking into for years prior, so it was a bit easier to write about it. Still, I gotta say 40 pages in about 2 weeks was harsh^^ But now I can focus on the game again, at least for the time being.

finally get a credit card, so i can use the patreon, but i believe i will only sign after the 1st, as i never used the patreon before i don't know if i sign now when the 1st arrives, i will charge again, i was thinking signing the general option, but I have doubts about the benefits

I have a question about 20$+ pledges.It says on your patreon page that those pledges get you an extra sprite animation, but do you get that animation when the game fully releases in public version? Oh, and i think i read somewhere that you intend to upgrade the sprites, so will they be like in NTRPG2 or will they stay like this, but with better animation?
P.S. I think the story and the characters are pretty good, extra points for honoring the original NTRPG and not making it exact copy and you actually try to make the characters likeable so that the player can actually feel something for them. I just hope that the ending will be satisfying beacuse in original NTRPG endings i was only left with questions, although the author may have been gunning for that. Good luck with the game.

For the 20$+ extra-sprite, it is something I intend on being exclusive for 20$+ Patrons, as a thanks for their support, so the public version is and will be the same as the 5$+ version when released. However, I've always made sure those extra-scenes don't contain elements that may be detrimental to the story and character development, so the game can be fully enjoyed without seeing them.
As for the sprites, the second Henteria Chronicles game will most probably be made with RPGMaker MV. The sprites aren't as life-like as RPGMaker XP engine (with which NTRPG2 was made), but it is the most recent RPGmaker engine and the sprites feel a lot smoother (plus, more gameplay customization options made by the RPGmaker community). This will also probably mean better animations, since the sprites are better made : )
Thank you for your feedback btw. There will actually be 3 endings, NTR/Non-NTR/canon ending, I hope at least one of them will be staisfying^^
I seem to have missed Neyn and I can't find them anywhere in the masion or the outskirts. Did the game bug out or am I just stupid.
