Not really, but because you decided to spend your precious time on that, instead of giving people the content they want. The MC. Completely agree with what everyone is saying in this thread. Regardless of if its optional or not, there is very little if any overlap between the harem and NTR genre. Someone who likes harem games is probably going to see the NTR toggle and stop playing and even moreso if that side character is pretty, likewise an NTR enjoyer will see the game is harem-focused and find something with a larger focus on what they enjoy
If you like harem then you probably shouldn't add NTR content to your game just to try and please two mostly incompatible fanbases. Not outright denying its possible for someone to like both though

All that comes to mind reading this thread and the devs responses to ntr content being added is
like its obvious someone offered $$$ for the content to be added and the dev decided money was more important than their story and you know more ntr stuff will become the main focus because of people offering extra $$$, sad really when a dev cares more about money than their own work and the story they wanted to tell though we will see how see how long it takes for this gets abandoned. And even though there is apparently a switch to disable it still happens in the story so kind of pointless to have a switch to avoid seeing the scene it if it still happens anyway.

Hey its no bother to me i just won't play since the game is no longer for me ,end off the day if that's what you wan't to do with your game its up-to you though you will lose supporters trying to juggle both sides of the coin as others have stated, I just said how this all comes across to me.

Well however things turn out i hope it goes well for you and your game though only time will tell. If i do decide to pick up this game again i will probably leave it for a few months see how things have progressed .

I did want to try it because of the images. But after reading those 2 pages of comments I'll keep it at a broom's length.

- Write in your own language first - do not take any shortcuts
- Take a day off afterwards
- Re-read it the next day.
- If it's good keep it, if not, improve or re-write it
- Put your story/text passages/whatever into an LLM for translation or give it to somebody who is better in English than you are. (You might even find somebody here in the appropriate requests section)
- Get sb. to read it
- Do not rush updates.
- Create enough content, so it's not just 15 minutes.
- Take some months if you need. (You've probably seen all this "high quality" content on this forum, where updates take half a year or way longer - that's the reality)
- You did add patreon & itch, so you are obviously going for a hustle. But if you keep spitting out rushed garbage people will stay away -> you might become demotivated and might keep producing lowly shit => so: take the time necessary or demonetize and mark it as an experimental first step into porn games making.
- Since you have some more basic issues, stay away from minigames and too much branching in the beginning. Learn the ropes of story, english, (art & animations) first.
- Do not try to please everyone. Don't you have a plan for the game already? If not - make one.

Ok, I give up. This game needs MAJOR improvements. This sentence had me so confused. 1.) There's no punctuation. 2.) If you read it like it is, you'll get so confused. I understand what the Dev is trying to say but still please go back to the beginning and proof read the entire game before anymore updates.
