Yeah, the progression is pretty wonky. Had to restart because Harley didn't trust me enough to be able to tell her that Natasha had a shiv.

When you search for clients try to get only Wolverine and Deadpool, they will give you infractions to report after you sell them stuff. Also I suppose you already reported Falcon.

That's actually bad advice. She-hulk and Dr. Strange want the items that give the most money per sell - with Wolverine being a close second. The best way to earn money is to skip over Starlord when you are able to, and add those two good ones to the tablet initially. Focus on your prison shop and you won't have to grind for money when you actually need it. And by the time you need to rat people out, you'll be able to buy upgrades from Falcon and the store, to increase seller slots. Your invisibility serum absorption will be at a good level at that time, to search for longer. There's no real need to grind for money, if you are playing and progressing.

True, I should've mentioned that i cheated some money to get back where i was in my previous save, since a couple of things changed since the last version.
While doing that I didn't have wolverine in my contacts and the only remaining upgrades I could get to have more space for contacts were the ones that you get after ratting out Natasha. I didn't expect that because in the previous version you didn't have to get Harley to trust you.

So yeah, I was cheating and softlocked myself by accident.
Although they're not the most profitable clients they are important for the progression of the story.
(Deadpool is pretty useless though, since you can only buy 2 porn mags to sell)

I had similar problem. Didn't have enough slots to rat out people to get more slots. With console I added one more tablet upgrade, bought 3rd slot for buyers and managed to continue my game.

I anticipated that might happen, but I didn't want to cap upgrading the possibilities slot till all other slots were upgraded to the same level, or something. Some players might run into more problems that way - forced to upgrade slots they don't care about and still could manage to screw their play through.
- I could also do it like, can't upgrade other slots past the current level of possibilities.
- Or maybe the possibilities slot is the first and the last slot able to be upgraded, since having a level 2 possibilities without having all slots filled, is a roadblock anyway.
In all cases, taking away the player's ability to choose, to some degree.
