What is the current model of this game I know it says its abandoned but I've been seeing higher versions of this game like v4.92 or something.

From dev blog. In other words, 4.92 is much older than the version available here since it is the equivalent of 0.492.
Ok, so does anyone still happen to have the old gladiator arena mod?
I know that there's a combat arena mod from MikeW, but i don't think that's it. The arena mod i'm looking for featured gladiator armors aside from the arena map itself, and as far as i know it can't be found anymore because of old reddit posts for mods being dead/deleted and apparently all of the websites that allowed people to view deleted reddit posts got nuked at some point.

So in its current state and if I were to install some mods, is this game worth playing? I remember playing it ages ago when the early versions were dropped, it was alright but lacked content and had too much jank.
It highly depends on your preferences. I didn't play 0.641 version, only the public one, but I see by screenshots it didn't advance too far from that - i.e. the game feels and looks rather unfinished. But if you can step over this issue and are here for the gameplay, not for content quality - it should be very playable and fun. With mods you can increase the amount of content greatly and gameplay diversity to some extent, but not its quality.
