Wait people are having trouble with the fishing? That mini game is so simple. As for the money, just sell the fish. But I guess you can't really sell any fish if you can figure out how to play the mini game .

Well, you will catch some of the fishes even without doing anything from the auto reeling. But he specifically asked about a "banking system" which just gives "one coin" so that's off - maybe the wrong tab? Although how many games on here do have fishing minigames?

It's a great game and I've really liked playing it. But the new money system has no explanation or guide. Seriously, I can't figure out how either the Fishing or this new Banking work. And since Money is made to be sooooooooo important to the game, it's a real pain. The old Fishing system was a LOT better and actually worked! At least EXPLAIN how it's supposed to work! And this Banking system- how am I supposed to get any money more than a single coin? It's gone from a Workable Game to a Total Mess!

You can get money way more efficiently by sending the girls on tasks while you focus on other things. I only had to do the minigame for 1 quest that demanded specific fish. The minigame is the exact same.
No idea what you are refering to by "banking system". Money works the same as before.
Honestly, I can't even understand how you would have trouble with that now, while you didn't before.

I don't understand what people are not getting about fishing, you draw a circle over and over again quickly, and if you can't catch a fish of higher rarity then you need to buy buffing items from the fish lady, and the economy makes no sense in a reality (where do these people get their money from, why are they buying garbage, which is joked about in-game) but gameplay-wise it's simple, sell things to the people who want to buy them, granny buys flora, fish lady buys fish, Maria (mining lady, think I messed her name up) buys stone and ore. mining only takes IRL time, and you catch 5 fish in one time period. money is only an issue when buying character cards or the Jimmy head pat upgrade.

Edit: forgot to mention the new (and kinda better) Guide board, it takes real-time now and you can put girls on and off at will, the town gives you money, lake gives you items.

I'm trying to make the game as less "grindy" as possible, and trying to give the player as many sources of income as possible. Like... being able to choose what to do to get money.
In the last update, I have added a lot of value to the objects that are sold... I have played with my phone and I got 2 silver in 3 minutes of gameplay grabbing a few apples and some mushrooms. I really don't understand those people who think the game is grindy or difficult.

One of HHG's goals is for people to play it as if it were any other game you have, for example, on steam. And for you to, at least, enjoy it. I don't know why but it's like a culture for any Ren'py game out there for people to check the files, cheat all the way through, asking saves... It's just weird.

My plan is not to make everyone staring at the screen for 1 hour only to get 1 Lucy scene, I just want people to have fun playing a game.

Of course, I understand 50 silver and 1 gold is A LOT of money and somewhat a grind. But I see it as an achievement for those tryhards out there. "You got 50 silver? You can headpat girls!" , "You have 1 gold!? Headpat Jimmy!". It's not even needed for the story to progress. Headpatting girls give only 1 affection, and Jimmy headpat does nothing, just a wholesome scene as a reward and a meme. You're not forced to unlock everything.

Ooof, where did you download the game? That version is extremely old. Download the new one, you won't be able to continue your progress but the game is completely different from that version.

As an RPG fan, I like the mechanics, but I can see people going "man, I just want some fap material, I could be on a COD lobby right now".

Some screens are really bad optimized, and I made a mistake, the game is consuming a lot of ram and cache. So, you might have problems. I'll try to fix it, but for now, try other renderers SHIFT+G change renderers and restart the game. Try everyone.

I think your game was alright, the gameplay was fun and the mechanics was great (I'm enjoy the fishing and mining alot even with cheats). The H scenes was hot and didn't feel force, story was very good and well written in my opinion so even though it's take sometimes to reach those content everything was worth it
If people want to fap they could just playthrough 1 time and later checking Gallery and fapping with it

I've tried all the different rendering options and none of them really help any more than the others. I'll just keep suffering through it til you can get it all figured out and squared away. Other than that I'll keep playing the game because I actually enjoy it quite a bit. Decent silly humor that I actually get a chuckle out of. Decent story so far. Doesn't really feel to grindy to me, if you know how to use the systems at least. Renders are great and the background are nice. Jimmy nuff said. Sadly the only thing that takes away for me personally is the lack of smaller chests. While I don't mind the big tits as long as they aren't ridiculously huge, I do love me some itty bitties. Ain't nothing wrong with a B-cup. Keep up the great work Komisari you can only get better as your skills grow.

Thing is, I have a pretty old off the shelf PC and experience no slowdowns whatsoever. Since I have seen a similar situation in other gaming threads (some people experiencing slowing of the game, others don't, and not because of better hardware) I get the feeling that, apart from what Komisari was saying, there may be something in the Ren'Py engine which doesn't work that well with some specific hardware or driver setup.

I do not see how leaving the "quick fap click game" area automatically means competing with AAA any more than that every entertainment product competes with every other for free time. In the non erotic gameworld there is a huge span from the most casual five minute game to epic and complex strategy or RP games, and it seems that on every level you will find people who think "that is just the amount of energy I want to and can invest into a game". Neither "dumbing it down" nor "spicing it up" automatically means more fans - different ones probably, but not always more. Personally, as you said of yourself, I like having something to do, and if a game keeps me occupied in a fun way for hours I don't mind if the lewds are sparse.

So yes, the people you mention do exist, but others exist as well and it is not immediately clear who's in the majority. What I find in many matters however is that the people on the more extreme sides of any spectrum tend to be louder than those inbetween.

If someone comes into the game expecting just story+sex, and ends up having to overcome videogame challenges, I can see why they would get frustrated.

To be fair, I check the files for all of my games, even those on Steam. Part of my fun is to take them apart, see how they work, mod them if I feel like it, and then see if it still works afterwards. Although for this game I only modified the difficulty of the Plague Fish (I couldn't catch it after many, many attempts with all the upgrades available. Can catch all the others just fine.) and to see if there was actually any more scenes with Selebus.

The main reason I think that people want to cheat all the way through or just get a full save is that they're not coming at this looking for a game to "play". They just want to see the pretty renders and animations. Unfortunately, they're missing out on a damn good game.
