I have reviewed game on Nov 5, 2020 the version of the game at the time were v0.1.2.
It is Jul 2023, the version of the game is... "v0.1.2.3b". With barely anything new in the game relative to amount of time passed. Update delivered what feels like to only remove "dead" tag on f95. And roadmap is full of 0% 0/11 tasks completed, 25% done... Why do people give this developer 7k$ per month?
Honestly this income looks super wierd, is he boosting himself? Or laundering money? There is way more promising games, with even more content, and consistent updates and additions, than this disaster, with way less income than this cringe.

The base game is almost 8 hours.
The update deliverer it almost 5, and looks even better than before, way, way better.

I guess yeah, it was delivered only to remove the dead flag, is not like 90% of my users come from itch.io, anyway.
But its okay, I understand your comment. Not a lot of users has actually the time to play the game. I would suggest unfollowing this thread, there are lots of way better games out there than this cringe game!

3 years, to deliver, 5 hours... Wow. You unironically saying this, makes it even funnier. :sneaky: It looks even better, checks posts over last few weeks... Bunch of people complaining about bugs. Yep. Better indeed, for my point. Guess couldn't find time to playtest and fix those bugs over last 3 years, need 2 more years to fix bugs now.

Bugs were fixed in multiple updates after v0.1.2.1.

In v0.1.2.1, the snowy update was posted.
In v0.1.2.2, 10 days later, the renpy got updated, and MOST of chapter 1 reworked SYSTEMS were implemented, making the game work way, way better, and with less lag.
In v0.1.2.3b, 20 days later, all bugs were fixed and there was polish.

This update was created in 6 months, not 3 years.

There are some specific bugs from specific software, but not something I can control.
For a normal user, there isn't any bug, it's our own mind's fantasy that is creating them for convenience.
Please, play it or stop trolling this thread!

I see you spend more time making excuses, and explanations instead of making a good game, explains everything.
Notice how you mince words, its not the content amount, its "this update was created". ;)
I'll take note, next time our client find a bug, i'll say "normal clients doesn't have bugs" and proceed to ignore it. :D

Honestly, this drama is so weird. I downloaded this game recently and was a tad disappointed about the amount of content for 4 years of development aswell.

It does make me wonder if it will take another 5-7 years per chapter and is the reason I won’t support it, let alone bother checking for updates. Nonetheless, it was enjoyable and I wouldn’t mind stumbling upon a more developed version in the future.

Was checking out the highest rated reviewed games on this site and stumbled across this one. Saw the staff note on the like/review manipulation. Is that why this game is near the top, or am I confusing it with something else?

I had role rewards for my discord to people who rated the game anywhere.

Moderators talked to me about this, and I was super accessible in changing whatever needs to be changed to not break the rules, and I followed every instruction and did the changes needed almost immediately. I have no intention to manipulate the reviews, the game has good reviews by itself.

The role rewards were there for 2 days, and only ----> ONE RATING <----- was done after the role rewards.

It's the first time I see the disclaimer.
To be honest, putting a disclaimer of "Dev is KNOWN for review manipulation" is WAY too much when I fixed everything as soon as the problem appeared. I even made a post telling my users that ANY rating done in F95 for the roles will be asked to be deleted, and, in case of not wanting to do so, will get reported via a ticket so it gets deleted because I have no intention to manipulate the reviews.

But... well...
In short, all ratings have been done organically for 3 years.

I'll open a ticket soon to take that disclaimer out of there, it makes no sense at all.

Love how chapter 1 was teased for almost / more than 2 years and being almost complete (or how you say "I'm being a perfectionist" only going to release it if it's completely done.)

Then you say it'll be split in more parts. You know. After several years.

Then you look at your trello almost everything is at 0 to 20%. After more than 2 years. Because 2 years ago the update is just a few days away.
And still part 1 of the supposed complete Chapter 1 won't release in a few month. Maybe you should start a new winter/christmas update. Maybe this time it'll be ready in time. Then you can milk more money. Because, you know, you don't care if people stop supporting you.
If you had one bit of dignity, you yourself would suspend the payment on Patreon.

Gotta admit though, I'm kinda jealous. Getting more than three times the amount of money that I make for doing almost nothing for more than 2 years, while several games are completed and considered one of THE best on this site while you consolidate that it'll be great! When it'll release! Sometimes soon! In a few days! Or month! Man I'd love to get that money.

It had the potential to be one of the fucking best on this site. Maybe even one of the best AVN of all time. Your update shows it. But fuck me, in the same time there were some fucking indie games that are awesome and are also made by a single person. Not just a fucking visual novel. That in my opinion is unacceptable.

Wish you all the best but for fucks sake, show something after more than 2 years of "work" instead of telling people you're working on it. If you complete the game I'm fucking ready to give you money but not with these shenanigans

Thank you so much. I'm aiming this high.
I'm happy to know that the update shows it.

I hope for you to, once the update releases, play it and maybe understand a little bit more. I'm not going to say anything else, because as you said, my word has no weight.
Still, thank you.

A small reminder iNSight of you were started around early 2020, it got finished in 2023. In time it took you to release... Barely anything, entire game got made. It has better crumbs of gameplay than this garbo, decent models, don't you even dare to say they cheated by using honey select, and actually decent writting. Yes it is not as sandbox as your trash, but man, they were not making same buck.

That's strange. Even Zimon from CoR got a private warning when they caught him manipulating reviews directly and nothing was made public until he stirred things up elsewhere.

Sure, first it would double the content (you in 2020). Then you said it's gonna be way bigger than the prolouge (which is 6-8 hours (8 according to you)) I remember that a few days ago you said it's "only" going to be 5 hours (don't know if you meant the future update or the winter update which wasn't 5 hours with normal reading for me at least). In more than 3 years. Normally I'm just a lurker but this pisses me off so much that I have to say something because it is a fucking great game. Also funny that more than 3 years ago it'll "probably release next month". Dude, seriously get it together.

Look at it that way: if you release your alpha/beta version, people can help you with their feedback. You could change the little things. And please, don't say you're a perfectionist. After all these years it looks like a scam. Show them it's not. Prove them wrong.

Also funny how you only quoted that again, avoiding everything that's critical of any of your work without being sarcastic/ironic like a few times already or the pity seeking way.

That'll be the last time for now that I write something on this thread. If you release something in this year, please dm me. I'd love to talk to you personally and give you my feedback in the DMs. I'd even love to voice chat with you and give you my feedback in the most honest way that I can. I'm also not a native english speaker. Sure, I don't give you any money via patreon but I still think it shouldn't be the only people you should listen to because it can be an echo chamber and not be objective. Please think about it.

It is REALLY strange indeed. My reason was this:
1690089732828.png
These are roles from discord. They gave me a private warning, I IMMEDIATELY changed everything, as I have no intention to manipulate the reviews, and they say they are okay with it.
Maybe it's just something they HAVE to post, so I won't judge them for that. I don't know, I will consult it later!

F95, in this case, was just an example. I accept my error and to be honest it was not intended to manipulate reviews.
The moment I got notified I sent a message to announcements saying that F95 reviews are NOT accepted and that, if they were done, they would ask you to delete it or I would open a ticket explaining the situation and making it be removed.

I fixed everything immediately the moment they told me what is okay and what is not to post.

Only one rating was posted after the date of the announcement of the rewards. That's why I think it doesn't make much sense for the disclaimer.

Again, this could be something they HAVE to do! So, I will consult it later. They are in their rights to post a disclaimer like that, but I think given to this specific situation, it can be avoided.
