I saw a few pages back he posted some screenshots of things he's been working on and honestly has me excited, I get some peoples complaints about a lack of updates but game design is a slow process with a full team of people, let alone doing it on their own.
Game is not abandoned, Dev is still milking it.
You're acting like you wouldn't take your sweet ass time on a passion project if you had fans willing to fund it with no strings.
The fact he made like a dozen updates in a couple months at the beginning(while his game was unknown) and as soon as he "blew up" and started earning fat dollars he stopped working altogether, it's safe to assume this is indeed what happened. It's just a porn version of Star Citizen. There will be always fools to fund such things.
You mean raking in enough cash monthly to be in the top 1% of wealth in your country while doing nothing for 4 years except gaslight with worthless GIFs and PNGs? I could call it many things (like scam, milking for example), but "passion project" is not one of them.
