If it takes months, though, it isn't development hell? I'm pretty sure you've gotta take a whole year to claim that, at a minimum.
I mean, MOST games have at least one period, usually more, where there's little significant progress for months due to one thing or another. The bigger the game the more likely and often that happens.
But at this point HHG may as well be Duke Nukem Forever for how long we're gonna wait for it.
i'm not waiting, it's just mentally helpful to look in here when my opinion of people in general s getting too positive

...opinion of people in general s getting too positive
but the Fun part is:

- HHG 0.1.2 is from 2020 (edit: was not 2021)
- he could have switched to Unity
- learn C#
- import his Pythoncode in C#

and the best Part is, he could still use his Koikatsu Animations/Pictures and rework his Minigames/Gameplay.

Well, well, well… Four months into this brand new year and still no update.

How many years has it been since he first promised an update? Two? Three? More?

Making over $4000 a month just to write apology posts because he can’t deliver updates every few months—or even years—on Patreon?

That’s a genius right there. :WeSmart:
See ya all next year. :KEK:

I really should unwatch the thread, since it's 90% people complaining about how Komi's a scammer for not delivering a free product, but...
i called them a liar, not a scammer.

they are not actually working on the game.

i don't think scam is an accurate word because nobody giving them money has any reason to expect an update to ever happen lol

People paying him/them money on Patreon and Itch.io for development.

after seen many other Games in 2022-2024 Abandoned, because funding was bad ($100 - $1,000), and most top Games with $3,000, $5,000, $10,000+ don't Updating for 6+ months/years is simply disgusting.

And I don't say, every Dev should work without break, but a minor Update after 100 - 130 hours development time should be possible.

you have a funny definition of free because a see Patreon and Tiers with EA, and on this Site are many not free Games 'free'
Patreon IS free, you're not paying for a product, you're paying for a producer.

I can, in theory, go on there and make a patreon that's all about me nutting on pictures of Misato Katsuragi, and people would theoretically pay for it. They needn't get anything out of it, they're just paying for me to nut on pictures of Misato Katsuragi.

Yeah but then you're obliged to nut on pictures of Misato Katsuragi. If you spend the last 5 years nutting on Shinji and never Misato, then you're kind of scamming your patrons.
