Planned, and a lot.
No, they are planned, but not implemented due a series of unfortunately circumstances. For example the first hired artist quit the job without doing nothing but keeping the money; if I remember well.
One of the first. Plus few another. The issue is - any test work with potential artist - costs too, and there are not too many artists, who can take such commission work and skilled enough to maintain style, that will pleasant for eye in price range below 500$ for one picture. As I said - there won't be new illustrations, until we will be able to gather enough money to make them without sacrifice other parts of development. They can be added later.
don't get me wrong peter, i like the game, especially what you showed with the demo before v6. i love the the steampunksetting, the art of the mainchar and the clothing system.
but less complexitiy is faster progress
less options are faster progress, when there are maybe "only" 2-4 possible options
less options in the leveling menu, you showed in v6, might be faster progress in the conversation developing

Complexity is not what's slowing development. I'm good with complex stuff, and our new writer is good at what she's doing. What's really slowed development is very long story of unfortune, very bad circumstances in my teammates life's, few real scammers, that not doing their part, but kipped promising to do tomorrow, search of new tram mates and etc. One of the most epic happened in this March, when writer promised to finish Monocle scenes(on which we talked a lot and made needed scene schemes, and etc) in time, and then in a week, before he should finished that - he told me, that he didn't even started, and didn't write a single word at all.
I didn't lost money in that story, directly, but was forced to close donations from Patreon on 2 month, because I was really ashamed, because I promised update to be done in that time, and weren't able to deliver it.
My last artist were forced to quit, due to bad economical situation, and need in full-time job.
Those stuff are really slowing down development.
I know, that people here often, just want to have a great time by playing game, that grow as fast, as mushroom's after rain, and all want - is to give them this great time, receive good feedback, and and increase support, so I can do what I love(to make games, this project especially) and earn enough money to leave from it. But -
shit happens too often.( All I can do - solve the problems as fast, as I can.
