My personal guess is that Steve is the stalker. This game is really good at foreshadowing. However, like someone else here mentioned, I like idea that the red herring/plot twist is that the person texting Emma and the stalker are two different people.

The person texting Emma is likely school-age. I'm thinking its probably some jealous girl.

I don't like Lucy. I know that Charlotte has every right to hate Hillside men and she is hostile openly but Lucy is giving undertone messages for misandry. I also got pretty good impression about Suzi being lesbian or at least bi.
Anyhow I love story so far, I won't even care if there is no sex scenes in future. Characters talk but not empty talks (often). I'm already looking forward to see next episode.

Great game, there are of course similarities with Lexi, but it's not like the Bodyguard genre isn't true and tried anyway.
I think this game handles the topic of women with sexual assault in the past, much better than some of the other games here do.
I really like the characters and the writing, the only thing that broke my game flow were all those non-choices I had to click.
I just don't understand why so many devs insist on them. If there is a choice to be made, give me a choice, if you're going to make the MC do something, just do it, no need for a pointless click.
Once or twice would be fine, but this felt like it was about 20-30 times and it was a bit of a nuisance tbh.

Because many devs don't want to bother with creating an actual branching storyline (it takes effort), but also know that no one downloads porn games to read textwalls of poorly written erotica. So they spam the player with non-choice prompts to give the illusion of interactivity and break the monotony of just clicking next.
Of course that also assumes the players are dumbasses and don't know what's up but that's a staple of adult game design too.

Weirdly enough the father came to my mind as an option once or twice while playing the game, now whether that is due to fact I played too many wrong games .....
Then again there are no real logical options yet disclosed for who the stalker is and why he stalks/became obsessed over Emma. A jealous classmate for fact she won design competition last year, someone that hates her mother and knows hurting her daughter is best way to hurt her or just random bad luck for Emma to be noticed by the wrong guy?
A lot of times a rape was done by a family member. NOW this is just stalking and not rape we talking about granted, but family member would be a nice twist thrown in to confuse us all. Let's see what the dev decided to do.

violence scenes are shocking to watch but also they are fantastically made, if this doesn't connects you as a player to Charlotte idk what will...
this kinds of things happen every day... we just don't see it or hear about them
