True and this is actually a game where I do not mind that slow burn overall, since it mostly does fit with the characters, what they have been gone through in the past and fact they are still strangers to each other that are getting to know and trust each other and have a lot to overcome. Only Charlotte's sister might make some sense as game has been set up to move faster possibly as she does.
There are also no weird big resistances in characters that would make no sense they could overcome in time with more trust and help, as opposed to our average incest game with an Mc that is emotionally and sexually years behind where you should expect him to be considering his age unless really antisocial or other things very wrong with him, his family are more or less strangers to him instead of living with him for 20 years and only have a taboo when it comes to him and some weird love to be abused especially by the Mom suddenly when Mc turned 20 years old by him or others even if they were quite capable of living their lives and using their brains to keep themselves safe of predators all those years before ....... Almost forget little sister tends to have same syndrome as Mc and is years behind where you would expect an 18 yo attractive young woman to be on the dating experience scene. Not even talking about the older sister dynamics, that somehow are always closet subs in the end.

The missing scenes seem to be small ones and not really important storywise. I don't think you have to wait for the full update to enjoy it. We finally have some advances in the DwaynexCharlie department and Emma has a good chunk of content too. There are no choices so you don't need a wt mod either.

Alot of games do that now. They slow down up to half a year for content that was one month of work. Guess it was too much grinding to get it out in time and now they do the opposite. Make less and get the cash. However if the story is still good and there are new backgrounds, it isn't a total waste

Maybe you should check out this game Rebirth as well, it falls right into the same alley(I mean a porn game with almost no sex scenes )
Okay, seriously, the jumper sliding up during the hug is exactly the kind of pointless detail I love to see, really makes everything a whole lot better.
It's a weird comparison to draw, but Ghibli is really good at that, just little stuff that in no way needs to be there, but is, and adds a lot of "texture".
EDIT Jesus Christ, I want to go for Kaylah more and more every time I see her, seriously seems like a great girl. Any way I can change your mind on her being a full LI, HillsideVN ?

Alpha ver is before beta... beta is the last step before full release, usually just to iron out any minor bugs that slipped through the alpha phase. Though, a lot of the developers on this website think "Beta" means "half-finished, missing a lot of scenes, full of bugs" and what they're essentially releasing to the public/their patreons is an untested, or very lightly tested, alpha version.

For me, this game went from very interesting to rather annoying. And somewhere in the process i lost all desire for all characters.

Going to run through this today to see what's happening. Noticed in the walkthrough that there are no choices to make, which makes me even more curious. Shouldn't take that long to get to the ending of this update if that's the case. Anxious to see what (if anything big) happens.
