That was a nice little update. Looks like things with Charlotte and the MC have defrosted quite a bit. I had one exception warning pop up though but was easily ignored, so not a big deal. A couple of grammatical errors but nothing major at all.
Overall very happy with where things are going. The sauna/spa scenes with Charlotte & the MC were good. Got some things out in the open, not much, but it's a start.
Looking forward to the full Chap 9 update but hopes DB's break is relaxing.

A top model's recruits *one* bodyguard to save her daughter who has a super-genius dangerous stalker that can just walk around a filthy rich LA suburb without being immediately caught by security, police or surveillance. And then that same bodyguard also becomes the mom's bodyguard because there is no other way she can protect herself, including like hiring some more bodyguards? This is a story-driven game alright. The story has driven it into a puddle of liquid shit.

im really glad Charlotte is warming up to the MC but Emma mentioning Zach every 5 seconds is really starting to get annoying im hoping that will stop soon, and also how long will the Suzi BS drag on for before she finally lets him help her, but overall a decent update and things with Charlotte are finally moving in the right direction,

Sorry iam disappointed very much... iam aware of the health issues DB had and so on... i was a Patreon til now, but canceld it after this update.
For this time elapsed this update is very short. The last one was short too. But this time the update takes more time to develop with less content and isnt even finished right.
If you have issues (health or otherwise) thats not in your hand... but releasing something short like this in a beta status is. Just finish it proper. And now you will take a break over the summer, so the next update wont come out before winter, maybe not even this year... and not long ago you decided to make animations too, so the development time will increase even more. I get the feeling this thing grows over your head and you should go back to the roots... til v0.7 you released short but polished updates, no unnecessary animations and stuff that distract you from the core of the game. And i it worked just fine. But now i got different vibes... hopefully iam wrong and all turns out just perfect.

The damn game itsfel explain why Charlotte dont hire another bodyguard. And we are talking about a woman with clearly, extremely fear to any human being with the form of a men. And at the same time, she want to haves some "normality" in her home, not an army of bodyguards because some scumbags want ruining her life.
