It is more Commonly the Irish that shorten to Mc (Why they are called Micks by some) whereas the Scottish tend to leave the longer Mac

Mackenzie, Mackintosh. Loads of Scots names that are Mac.
It's not why the Irish are called Micks btw, that's just because Michael is such a common name over there.
The Aussies extend that, as a derogatory term for Roman Catholics in general.
We generally refer to them as Paddys - Patricks, in England.

MC: "Yeah it's me. I would like to make a dinner reservation for one person. Locker room at the college..thanks."
*Flips a single Gold coin on Johnos Body*
