I'm confused. You downloaded and applied the fix, afterwards the game ran fine. Then you eliminated the fix and the game stopped working? So why did you eliminate the fix? Or maybe I misunderstood. Is the game working now?

Hey guys, did anybody know how i trigger the shower scene ? After the 1.80 update i cant see the shower action botton in the gym?

As the problem was that by minimizing the game damage, worse by putting the fixed the game worked again, at this time I removed the fixed and the game continued to work.

Version 0.2.1 beta - development news (updated 22. March 2020)

Hi guys and gals, this post offers you a collection of news about the next full version of Holiday Island (0.2.1 beta) and the smaller updates towards it.​
There will be smaller, more frequent content updates, called content addons. They will include bug fixes and new content as well.​
The change log below is based on the beta 0.2.0.0 release.​

The next release is 0.2.0.1 beta which will be an incremental update.​
It will include a some new features and some bug fixes as well.​
As of right now, the update from 0.2.0.0 to 0.2.1.0 has:​
67 additional renders, videos or sound files​
14 updated renders (Yumiko poker, Heather poker)​

New features and content
  • Yvette gets a scene in the sauna --> still working on it
  • Eva will get the hotshots game scene in the nightbar --> still working on it
  • The sauna will be available as a regular location you can go to --> will be part of 0.2.0.1
  • Heather gets an improved poker appointment with new renders and text --> will be part of 0.2.0.1
Bug fixes
  • On some systems there are code conversion error with Renée during the update phase --> will be fixed with 0.2.0.1
  • If you missed an appointment from Joy's "Desires and Wishes" mailbox quest line, she will not send a new one and you can't get another one at reception --> will be fixed with 0.2.0.1
  • The weight lifting/bench presses workout did not increase the workout per week counter for some girls --> will be fixed with 0.2.0.1
  • If you missed the appointment to stay the night with Amy, she did not send a new one --> will be fixed with 0.2.0.1
  • Amy max love/affection quest line. There was a bug that could lead to a wrong quest sequence. You could do the arm wrestling before the massage, screwing up the quest line --> will be fixed with 0.2.0.1

Is the update going to break save games?:

0.2.0.1 beta --> Save games from 0.0.8 and later can still be used. Earlier saves are no longer supported.​

From the guide: Why are some of the pictures in webp format?
"It is a format that allows more detail and sharper pictures when the developer does the renders without increasing the photos to a ridiculous size of bytes. Windows can display them if you download the coded pack. After that you can open them in almost any application [...]

You will need to restart Windows for the Explorer preview to work after you've installed the codec."

If you haven't downloaded the Webp codec, you're going to get errors when your comp/Renpy tries to access Webp files. Download the codec and try to access the scene again. If you still can't get it--or you've already downloaded the codec--then there's either an issue with your download or a bug that needs to be reported on the Patreon.

Hello all!

I can't seem to trigger Amy's new scene in the latest update. Any advice? I triggered all scenes in the previous update.

for some reason i can never do anything in the massage room besides sit and wait. anyone else have this issue or am i doing something wrong?

You need one of the girls that does massages--Heather/Renee/Faye/etc--to be available. If they're not, or if they're currently doing another job that interferes with them being available to give massages--which typically means you have them as the Receptionist--then all you'll be able to do in the Massage Parlor is just sit and wait. (Even with all three women available, though, they don't just stay in the parlor from when it's open to until it closes--all of them, even if it means no one is in the parlor, will take an hour or two to go do other things even though it should be their "shift".)
