Holiday Island update to 0.3.7.1 has been released

Hi guys and gals,
the first bug fix update for 0.3.7.x has been released.

This is an update to the version 0.3.7.1 (PC, Mac, Linux only).
The update works only on version 0.3.7.0.

In case you are new to the game, you need to download one of the main game files version 0.3.7.0 beta (PC, Mac, Linux) from the links on my main patreon page or from the OP of this thread:

Save games from 0.0.8 alpha and later versions should still be working. Older saves are no longer supported. Some saves might still not load. Sorry for that, but there is nothing I can do about it.
Please download the update to 0.3.7.1 beta (PC, Mac, Linux) from one of these links:
Mega
OR
Google Drive

To apply the update, please extract all files from the zip archive to the sub folder named "game" inside the folder where you installed the full game. Overwrite all files when asked.
For Mac users, please navigate to the folder structure:

\Contents\Resources\autorun\game
Extract the content of the zip file into the "game" folder mentioned above.

Please check this post to get information about bugs that have been fixed since 0.3.7.0

Anyone know if the companion mod works for 4.0? If not, will it be updated?

Bloody hell! Tech support at Santa's workshop is probably breaking records on requests-per-day.
And Santa is global of course,

So I already have a MILF (her original), a Blonde (shown above), a Dark skinned and even a Japanese/Chinese (mix) version of her.

They have had to change RAM to mean 'Randomly Assembled Melons' at Santa's.

'nombre' is a very odd word for an English language game made by a German developer. Is this by chance a version that somehow went through a translation engine? nombre seems to fit your language at the top.

Hi people, somebody could help please?
Fix :
DELETE the Persistent file in these two folders (Save & AppData).
Save folder... (Holiday Island/game/saves)
AppData folder (C: user/***/AppData/roaming/RenPy/Island-1499865023)*** your user id

I managed to delete the persistent file in the appdata folder, but the game does not come with a saves folder so there's no persistent file to eliminate there

So I'm using the companion mod and I've read the guide's warning about it, which stats are safe to edit and which are not? I only want to increase the players stats to avoid grinding.

Does anyone remember how to unlock Amy's pole dance option at the bar? I got the first one automatic, but the button to ask her for more didn't show up, I don't know what I'm missing, I already finish her quest (and almost every other girl too), I'm missing only those pole dance related scenes. screenshot0003.png

You have the correct path listed in your post - C:\...\Holiday Island\game\saves)
Open the saves folder and you will see a "persistent" file listed. Delete that file.

Most are fairly open to increase. I don't recommend going 100% on anyone however.
DO NOT TOUCH Amy however, you will not be able to achieve some of her scenes.

Seems my game won't start anymore. I did as mentioned in the readme file and deleted both Persistent files.

Tho this doesnt solve the problem.

It might help if we knew what type of system you were trying to play the game on. PC, MAC, Phone/Tablet. Full version you downloaded from the developer's Patreon page or a compressed version. Did you install it correctly, meaning it is a full game and not and update, so you can't just overwrite existing files. Was a traceback report or a crash report generated? Brand new game or are you trying to load one of your 'saves' or one you found elsewhere? What, if anything happens when you click on Yvette's smiling face? No guarantee that an answer exists, but at least we'd have more to go on.

I play it on PC, 0.4 version, I was at day 14 or so, just met the twins and saved earlier this week.
So it was a full install about 10 days ago.

At this moment, after 2 reboots cause the game freezes the entire PC, it's back online, but as soon as I hit the 2nd save page it freezes again.

First I wondered if the Antivirus software messed it up but why after 10 days... but that doesnt seem the case.

I will try to reinstall the game to a different drive and try to load there to see what happens.

BTW: I prefer clicking on Alice or Amy's face :)
