Man, this escalated from a simple yes or no question to someone pretty much telling me to not play the game if I don't like the rules it sets up. I mean, it's a porn game.
As long as it's not affecting you on a personal level, does it matter if I cheat or not?

Apologies, it seems that from my first reply you did not get a answer that satisfied you.
I did not go with the direct route with a "Yes" or "No" and was trying to explain to you (and other readers) how games, and games with chance work.
My reply's after that were attempts to explain my answer more, as you seem to be replying as if you were not satisfied.
My final statement about the "If you don't like the rules then don't play the game." yes ,was harsh, but you seem to still not to be satisfied with my explanation.

To answer in a direct manor... at the moment there is no cheat to force Jessica in the pool late at night.

I don't design the new stuff mainly to be played exclusively. It's part of the game like all other already existing scenes are.
Take for example the waiting period of 1 week for Joy's new quests.
If you consider the game in it's entity, you're not supposed to try to finish Joy's quests as quickly as you can. They are just a little extra that comes up evey now and then to give more variety and something new.
If you play the game from the start, you won't even notice the 1 week waiting period. I understand that only a minority will always replay the game from the start when a new update comes out.
But I have to mainly consider the game in it's entity to make sense and to be fun to play. Even if it means you have to do some more waiting and clicking to see all the new stuff, ignoring everything you've already seen.
This is something that cannot be helped with a sandbox game, where new stuff is added later one.
With a VN, it's easy. You are at day 5 and now day 6 is added. All you have to do is load your save from day 5 and start the mindless clicking orgy 100 or 500 times and you have seen day 6.

Since the game is modular in all aspects, there is a cheat for everything and anything in the end. But you have to know exactly what you're doing to not break anything in the process. Most events and appointments can be started from the console. But if you do some of them in the wrong order, a quest or a quest line could be fucked up.

I play it again from the start with every big major update. Always great to see new stuff, intros, new options, play and try something differently. Now I know much better how to properly train and increase some stats, and have different random encounters. To know how to skip some parts just by pressing Ctrl helps (always wonder if some people know about that function).

Same here, though I gotta say that this is really only the second major update i've experienced so if you're with it from the start, I can kinda see why you would want to skip some parts.

Sorry, bit of humor. Look there is no right or wrong answer as to why you play or how you play. That being said, there is no right or wrong way for how the developer sets up the game play mechanics. It is his game. Is a week between meetings with Joy a pain? Yes, I suppose it could be. As I see it, you have a couple options.

1) Use unren to unlock all the new renders and look at them to your heart's content.​

2) If you want the actually scenes with dialogue, play the game as the developer has written it. That doesn't mean you have to actually wait seven days. By that I mean, have a meeting with Joy on say a Tuesday and get the quest, which you then complete. Now stay in your room (or my personal favorite the gym) and just click on the wait 30 minute icon repeatedly. Ignore all messages, knocks on the door, or any interaction with anybody. When it hits 23:00hrs go to bed and sleep until morning and repeat. Depending on the speed of your system or device you can breeze through a complete week in about 5 - 10 minutes. Now go get another meeting with Joy. Repeat as necessary until you have completed all quests.​

Eh, no harm no foul. Just kinda surprised that anyone would make such a huge fuss about a singleplayer porn game. But then again, maybe that's a foul on my part since the scene I really wanted was any scene where Jessica comes to your room either for the batteries or for room service. IDK. Plus, I wasn't even aware that you met Joy once a week when I played the previous version. I just assumed it was random since I was just playing the game to dick around. Anyways, that's all...

You're doing something wrong then. Ask Jennifer what is the best way to train and follow her advice.

By struggling do you mean that the "wrestling" button isn't available for Amy ?
If that is the case, it's normal if I remember, continue her other missions (orange rose and dress).
And just to be sure make a save and keep it before doing all that.
Edit : at the end of this quest line, wrestling with Amy is a permanent feature.

Resilution now solved. but now another error needs to be fixed, the location bug. requesting a hand to rectify rhe next bug, seems only to happen in the reception location the traceback happens.

It's not the cannot set video mode error but maybe try the resolution fix by creating a txt file named use_fixed_resolution_720.txt in the "game" folder in C:\Matty\games\HolidayIsland-0.2.0.0-pc or check the pateron page, Darkhound posted some patches.

For all of you that get crashes as soon as you click on preferences or load, please manually add an empty text file in the HI sub folder "game".
Name the file: "use_fixed_resolution_720.txt"

Now I need assistance woth the one bug, a location bug actives only on the reception area. the traceback activates and requires assistance to fic the error. requesting help.

this helped fix the resolution problem. Now another bug or error needs assistance with fixing. The traceback error happens only on the reception area. the traceback error seems to happen just after the start of the intro and takes you to the reception area and they just finish talking explaining everything about the island and the game wants to startm the traceback happens. requesting a fix to assist with the game.
