Damn you, darkhound1 ! You just had to go and change some of the starting options and early scenes! Now I have to start all over again. Had to watch Yvette's plane scene, Natasha's arrival, Jennifer bench pressing. All over again. Terrible, I tell you! Just awful...

That is not possible.
Brenda, Desire, Mia, Natasha and Renee are all done / completed.
In Brenda's case more than one year ago (Rel 4.1).
So they have all the content that was planned for them.

Snarky, what should be "obvious" from my post is that I HAVE played the game ... years ago. That should have been "obvious" by my specific recollections of gameplay when I stopped. (Your post could have been constructive had you not started it with the "obvious" snark, "or worse" reference.)
"Obviously" I find the use of the word "obviously" to be offensive. I later read further to find your post contained "obviously" helpful information. Thumbs up to the info.
I've probably asked this before, but is it possible to remove or increase the girl limit on the island?

If I remember correctly, 9 is the max of girls on the island (not including Delizia and the staff)
Nope, not possible to increase from that.
You can send one away, going down to 8 if you want, as that's used for swapping them over.

What do you think Mercedes and Ivy's voices will sound like? Also, great update! There's a lot of improvement in terms of scaling, even though there isn’t much new content—but we’ll wait.

It is hidden down in the comments, so no real way of knowing unless browsing them (random that I noticed it myself).
The minor issues list that Rel 5.1 will cover seems to include,
- (typos) While listening to rumors with Amy and Yvette about the body building magazine
- (zoom) Yvette at the pool and you check out her assets, the zoom goes to the upper left corner of the picture instead focusing on her.
- (wrong names) When Jessica is introduced at the tit fight, It displays Jennifer's name and comments thanking Mercedes for the introduction. Also at the end of Jessica's introduction, the name shows as Jennifer.
Hello, did I get something wrong, I put the file in the game folder but still after one night mercedes comes to announce the tit fight event .... after one day!?!? Did I put the file in the wrong position or do I need to restart or start with an old Save from 4.5 again, or what, pls help!!!

If you followed where to put the functions.rpyc file, it should work really...
Open the folder where you installed Holiday Islands. Inside that folder should be a folder called "Game". Put the functions.rpyc file inside the "Game" folder.
Mhm, this game has a lot of potential so I'll stick around and hope for a few quality of life improvements.
The animated scenes seem pretty few and far apart, but what's worse is the replays are so well hidden I hardly ever find them. Loads of stuff seem just a bit too cumbersome as it stands, like after searching around the forum for half an hour I just gave up on the Picture Frames in my room, like I have no idea how to use them.

During the quest for Aly when you learn how to use clamps, I asked Jennifer and during this entire scene screen is black (except UI).
After chatting more, I believe this scene was supposed to end, but instead I have these two options, which for now end bad for me and I have no option to avoid this choice.

If it's ending badly for you, I suspect that Natasha's affection, love, and/or lust stats aren't high enough.

Might as well add another minor one: when talking to Jennifer again about the clamps because you forgot how to operate them while helping a girl, the screen goes black as if all the images for the interaction were missing (the text is still there and the game continues normally after you exit the conversation).
I mean this should not be a forced choice... unless there is a dialogue if she has high lust.
woe is me, my old beaten up graphics card fails and bluescreens if i try to upgrade an old save file to v0.5 or try to start a new game in v0.5 o7 lads
